I ran into this place just over a year ago now on my bicycle. I love exploring VT on two wheels so while I was not especially hungry, I wanted to at least check it out. I ended up spending 1.5hrs off the bike chatting with the owner of the place, discussing all sorts of things and sharing a meal. This place is awesome! The barbecue is flavorful - I especially love the brisket, but my husband argues that the pulled pork is even better - and the sides are delicious! Be sure to try the collard greens! What a fun spot to get great food!
Bumped into this place randomly while we were camping and so called “roughing it” haha this place is a true gem including the guy who runs it!! It’s not really on a whole lot of social media so I’m happy to give it the recognition it deserves here .
