Great breakfast and small town appeal!
We walked in early Sunday morning right after they opened. It was our first visit. Very quiet. Perfect for a casual, home cooked breakfast. I tried the breakfast sandwich and my husband had the western omelet. Both were fresh. Good portion size, not over the top. Very reasonably priced. Place is a lot more spacious than the outside may suggest so no issues in terms of social distancing when dining inside. We would come back.
Love this place for breakfast and have been eating there for years, through several different ownerships. Stopped in recently and saw steak and eggs on the menu. When it came, the steak was sizable and good half inch thick. Worried about toughness, but it was not! It was great. Had sunny side up eggs, home fries and a biscuit. What more could you ask for. All for a great price, and nice staff.
Had to come back and edit my review because I had a different experience today. They have great pancakes and prices, but some of their staff isn’t very friendly. I came in to give my name, as there was a wait and I was told to “bus tables myself” even though I literally wasn’t doing anything and just walked in the door... I looked around very confused as to who she was talking to. I do enjoy their pancakes but their staff is either extremely kind or blunt and rude.
Pre-made frozen burger, stale bun, order was 75% wrong, bacon was like balsa wood, fries were soggy and bland. Had better takeout in 3rd world countries. Do not recommend, try McDonald's across the street.
Great care went into keeping people safe from rona (c-19virus )life scare ,put it all on hold ...good food, attentive wait staff ,good price too
Good family cooking.
Take-out from Crossroads! The next best thing to eating there. The blueberry pancakes were loaded with berries and the bacon was perfectly cooked. The meatlovers’ omelet was a bit overcooked and the fried potatoes were “hard little pellets” my hubby said. They provided plenty of real maple syrup (I chose to pay the extra for real) and butter. We were saddened not to have a raspberry or blueberry muffin! They were always great. We are happy to support this restaurant that’s been around the area for years. It’s conveniently located to the VA hospital too.
Cantore's offers a very warm environment and wonderful comfort food. It is a convenient location for those who find themselves at DHMC for the day. Their meals don't disappoint!
It was pretty good. Honestly, better than expected. The portions were humongous!

Food is always a homerun, love the omelets. The servers are what really make the visit memorable... great job gals!
Best Steak and Cheese in town. Great service
The best diner breakfast I have had in a long time. Crispy hash browns, excellent rye toast, and perfectly cooked corned beef hash. Thank you!
Tasty diner food. Great service. Only complaint is that they try to put American cheese on everything.
Great food and great prices and the staff is great
