Service was wonderful and accommodating
Food needed slight adjustments to really elevate the dishes. The mussels were great but the porkchop was over cooked. It still had nice flavor but unfortunately was not cooked the best.
It's a great venue for nice nights out but I wouldn't recommend for the food snobs.

Just lovely. Quiet and calm, well lit, great food, great service. Comfortable chairs and bar; beautiful setting, especially for train fans.

Just wow. My mouth was so happy after visiting this place. An accidental find, but I’m glad my karma bank steered me here.

Very nice restaurant. Made a reservation for six. Shortly after we arrived, the room was full. Very busy. And the bar seats were full also.
We started with a few apps and a drink. Service was good.
Then dinner came. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Don't stop there. Dessert was just as good.
We had a good time with a good meal at a good restaurant with good service.
I would recommend on any night that I am not there. I don't want to wait for a table.

Had the veal saltambuco and the caprese salad. The salad was superb, loved the purple tomato. The veal was also very good.

All around good dinner. Not spectacular but good and worthy of a return visit. I enjoyed coconut curry muscles. Shrimp linguine was good. And chocolate cake desert had just the right level of sweetness. Parking was a little difficult.

I don’t believe I was fancy enough to eat here. The food was good, but most of the menu looked pretty exotic. I got the lasagna and really enjoyed it, so I am happy with everything, it just might not be the place I would frequent.

Just had dinner with friends there and all was wonderful! Our server, Lee was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable, attentive and engaging. Although the food was excellent, he really made the evening more special.

Our recent visit to Elixir was, in short, a deeply disappointing and thoroughly regrettable experience. I say that not with dramatic flair, but as someone who has just spent $133 on what may be one of the most underwhelming meals in recent memory.
Let’s begin with the baked fig appetizer. What should have been a simple, elegant start was instead served with what can only be described as stale—if not outright moldy—bread. Whether it was sourced from a clearance bin at Shaw’s or a forgotten rack at Target, the texture and taste were wholly unacceptable.
Then came the ribs. The menu promised something slow-cooked and savory; what arrived was dry, fatty, and devoid of any seasoning. A whisper of red wine might have grazed the dish at some point, but salt, pepper, or any recognizable flavor had clearly missed the invite. The accompanying “gravy” was an uninspired, unappealing addition—why not elevate the dish with a proper demi-glace? Meanwhile, the mashed potatoes, clearly not made fresh, were served cold or luke-warm at best. However, at least the plate it was served on was hot, or so your server thought it was!
The pesto bucatini fared no better—bland, pale, and unimaginative. It was a dish without soul, seemingly assembled with the same carelessness that pervaded the rest of the evening.
The experience was foreshadowed the moment we stepped inside. The decor was outdated, the scent of old seafood and cracked leather hung in the air, and the ambiance felt more like a forgotten lounge than a restaurant trying to justify “hard-to-get reservations.” In hindsight, perhaps we should have handed our reservation over to the two gentlemen who were politely turned away at the door—they would have been spared.
To top it all off, Elixir doesn’t even manage to deliver on its name. The cocktails were uninspired, lacking the creativity or finesse you'd expect even from a mid-tier chain restaurant. I’ve had better drinks at The Cheesecake Factory, and I say that without irony.
To the team at Elixir: If you’re going to market yourselves as a destination dining experience, it’s time to rethink everything—from your kitchen practices and menu execution to your ambiance and hospitality. At the very least, live up to your name and serve a decent drink.
Final word: Be better. Because this? This isn’t it.

Wonderful dinner and atmosphere, local farm to table, and in-house made ingredients.

Always great. Main course came out with starter on last visit but attributed it to a glom of orders in the kitchen from a large group also dining. Will plan to return when in the area

We had a delicious dinner. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The cocktails were creative, beautiful and tasty! The kitchen was willing to make modifications which we appreciated but the portions were on the smaller side. Everything was great, except all of the table candles were lit with small kerosene lamps and the smell overtook the restaurant.
