After shopping the beautiful hand blown glass & watching the glass blowers at work, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the Bar. It was a Wonderful stop on our New England road trip!!
I've been dining at Simon Pearce for 27 years. Something has changed in the last year. The management seems off in that it does not run as smoothly as it did. Staff is not as elegant and knowledgeable as they have been in the past. But, the biggest change has been the food. The classics that have been on the menu forever are mediocre now at best. Over sauced fish, lack of flavor, a general sense that the freshness that once was a standard is not there. I noticed small things...
Our server was terrific and made great recommendations. The food came out on a perfect schedule and was absolutely delicious. The after dessert coffee was freshly brewed, strong, and aromatic just the way I love it. Definitely going back
