We were on our way back from Vermont and decided to stop by for some Indian food.
Only saag chicken was good - in fact it was REALLY good. I would recommend their rotis as well.
Apart from that, food was average.
I can at best only give 3 stars as I got really bad FOOD POISONING after this.
Be careful when eating from here if you have a sensitive stomach.

This is a take-out place (not dine-in) and is seriously some of the BEST Indian food I've ever had. Highly recommend the Sag Paneer and curry (get the hot! It's not overwhelming and full of flavor.)
The gentleman who gave us our food was incredibly kind and welcoming.
We are from way out of state, but we will definitely be back if we ever drive through the area again.

The people who run this place are gems and truly believe in making Indian food the best it can be in the Upper Valley. It's as delicious as it gets and definitely worth the trip from Hanover if you're a Dartmouth student getting bored of in-town options.

Restaurantji Recommends
Cannot and I repeat, cannot tell you how good this food is. As a Fat guy, who’s been to most restaurants in every county I’ve lived in. This is the best Indian spot this side of New Delhi! Recommend the butter chicken, the vindaloo and the Nann! to go only, so order on your way or before you go! Food is worth a drive.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options
Dietary restrictions: They have a lots of options, and if you call to place your order can work with your needs
Parking: Park around the house, or across the street.
Kid-friendliness: Tables outside, but to go only so kids probably would stay in the car.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, they have a ramp to the pickup window

No dining room, but REALLY good food fast and reasonably priced.
Food was delicious, I recommend the chicken tikka masala and veggie samosas. Even better was the service. I was late to pick up my food and they were so gracious and helpful when they did not need to be. Thank you!!

When you roll up to someone’s house that’s when you know it’s going to be good, and this is NO exception. Everything from Taj e India is delicious and affordable. My friend lived in the area for two years and we’ve loved this place and went here all the time because it’s the best. Highly recommend for a great night of takeout. Thanks for everything
