Not sure how a public house can mess up fish and chips but...I was expecting nice beer battered (or at least battered) fish, instead I got a deep fried hockey puck type thing that was apparently panko-encrusted or something. Wow the best food we have had in a while! The fries were the best in the county hands down. Almost like a Parmesan truffle fry! The taco loco was truly loco and so so tasty. We WILL be coming back for sure! Also thanks to the super kind staff!
Interesting experience. We were seated at our reserved time. Our first drinks came and the server mistakenly brought out a pale ale instead of the stout I ordered. That was replaced quickly. The main dishes were good, sandwiches and tacos for the most part but decent and well seasoned. The biggest problem I had while eating was an overpowering smell of cleaner that affected each bite.
