My husband and I absolutely loved Fledermaus Teahouse! The location is so peaceful and beautiful. The food is absolutely delicious. The mint tea and carrot cake was my favorite! Their customer service is wonderful and I cannot wait to visit again!

We enjoyed a delicious light meal at the Fledermaus Teahouse today. It was a beautiful Vermont summer day, so we dined al fresco at a table on the lawn with a view of the flower garden. Inside, however, the old world style tearoom invited a charming and cozy dining experience as well. The food was freshly made, including a choice of cakes made in house. Hospitality at its finest!

What a welcome place to stop returning home to Vermont from Quebec! We enjoyed elegant, flavorful vegetable cakes with freshly harvested lettuces (all gluten-free); delectable mint iced tea; German iced coffee; a peach cake with a GF crust of marzipan that was to die for - really! Even our dog was greeted with a fresh water bowl made of porcelain. What an unexpected treat - we will be back and highly highly recommend. ?

A beautiful spot nestled in the hills of Vermont. It is like traveling to Europe as you enter this idilic location. Lovely host and hostess who take pride in everything they do. Food is local and homemade.

Excellent food m, excellent service. The place was adorable, clean, and just a delight to spend time in. They had some gluten free options, including a delicious gluten free chocolate layer cake with creamy almond butter frosting.

A friend recommended this tea house, open seasonally May-October, on a gorgeous location. It's peaceful, quiet, intimate, pretty and everything Vermont and Germany combined. There is a menu of teas and coffees, plus sweets, as well as a savory menu. Everything is prepared on the premises and home-made with recipes from Germany. We enjoyed late afternoon lemon cake, carrot spice cake and gluten-free chocolate raspberry torte, along with water and seltzers to hydrate. We also enjoyed light conversation with the owners who are passionately vested in their little upstart. It is a darling place. The Tea House (cabin) is clean, well-appointed, and inviting with many little nooks to sit and sip. Outside, you might get a swing chair or a table in the shade. You may bring your own bottle of wine, if you want. They are open 12-7 Thursday-Sunday. This is a little home-spun paradise for those seeking a little respite on a nice day. Make this a destination for adults or good friends when traveling in the North Country. It was a very pleasant experience.
