I stopped by Moogs Joint while hiking the Long Trail. They let me set up my tent down by the creek and I headed i side for some excellent food and drink. I had a salad, wings, and more fries than a hungry hiker could finish. Don was very accommodating, and Tom did me a solid with a ride into town the next morning. Many many thanks! ✌🏻

I got the chicken sandwhich and fries my fries were half un cooked and completely raw and cold and my chicken sandwich when I bit into it the wood stick they usually put directly on top vertically in the sandwhich stabbed me in the mouth it was hiding horizontally in the sandwhich. The chicken was also very chewy and boney. Did not enjoy and ended up getting hurt trying to eat my sandwich!

Moog’s Joint is where you go at any time for a pick-me-up. The menu is always appetizing and coincides with the changing seasons. The service spectacular. The bands they have are great. The cocktails are amazing and fresh. It’s a guaranteed great experience every single time, top to bottom.
It’s a whole vibe that I’m glad we have available to us all.

Went for dinner. As Brits this place seemed very weird. Very loud locals and more a bar scene than a restaurant. We laughed at the guy who talked louder than anyone else, maybe because everyone was ignoring him. Anyway the food was great, the service was efficient and friendly. Just a bit too loud for us.

Just went to get food to go I ordered something and did not get it, and the food that I did receive was not cooked the way it was supposed to be and waited almost an hour when I was told it would only take 20 minutes beyond disappointed will not be going back

I LOVE the chicken & dumplings that they no longer offer but when they offered it I always ordered a dine in plate & a take out dinner of it because you just can’t replicate perfection. The drinks are always amazing. They aren’t watered down and they aren’t extremely strong where you can’t put them down. They are right where they should be for taste & flavor. The atmosphere is calming, professional, kind of romantic & nights they have the band there playing it’s kind of peppy so you can eat with your family with some music in the background to enjoy your night. The dry rub chicken wings are to die for. They are some of the BEST chicken wings I’ve ever had compared to: Hoagies in Derby, Newport & Morrisville, Texas Roadhouse, and anywhere else. Again, I always order multiple orders of their wings because they are sweet with flavor and you will want to have more, they’re so mouthwatering. Sometimes this place is pretty slammed on a Friday night to get into but it’s worth the wait because it’s worth it every time. I’ve never had a bad meal, burger, fries, dip, wings, anything here. You can tell the owners and works take pride in their work. The employees always have a smile on their faces, greet you, are accommodating & warm. I highly recommend coming here. I have 0 complaints.

This place literally rocks! always has great music, great staff and is a nice hangout. Kind of like a community watering hole. Really makes Johnson special. I come back to visit whenever I can. Enjoy a satisfying dinner, nice band, little bit of dancing and a chill atmosphere. Say hello to Tom Moog if he's there, He's a absolute legend! I wish they had more gluten free food but I enjoyed the pulled pork on fries they whipped up for me. And the wings are gluten free.

Good atmosphere with music. A bit on the small side for a restaurant with little seating. Bathrooms are clean, and food is average. People are nice it's a cute place in the country. Wanna say prices are a little high, but in these times, it's actually average giving the way everything is.
