The food is exceptional! I LOVE the chicken & dumplings that they no longer offer but when they offered it I always ordered a dine in plate & a take out dinner of it because you just can’t replicate perfection. The drinks are always amazing. They aren’t watered down and they aren’t extremely strong where you can’t put them down. They are right where they should be for taste & flavor. The atmosphere is calming, professional, kind of romantic & nights they have the band there playing it’s kind of peppy so you can eat with your family with some music in the background to enjoy your night. The dry rub chicken wings are to die for. They are some of the BEST chicken wings I’ve ever had compared to: Hoagies in Derby, Newport & Morrisville, Texas Roadhouse, and anywhere else. Again, I always order multiple orders of their wings because they are sweet with flavor and you will want to have more, they’re so mouthwatering. Sometimes this place is pretty slammed on a Friday night to get into but it’s worth the wait because it’s worth it every time. I’ve never had a bad meal, burger, fries, dip, wings, anything here. You can tell the owners and works take pride in their work. The employees always have a smile on their faces, greet you, are accommodating & warm. I highly recommend coming here. I have 0 complaints.

This place literally rocks! always has great music, great staff and is a nice hangout. Kind of like a community watering hole. Really makes Johnson special. I come back to visit whenever I can. Enjoy a satisfying dinner, nice band, little bit of dancing and a chill atmosphere. Say hello to Tom Moog if he's there, He's a absolute legend! I wish they had more gluten free food but I enjoyed the pulled pork on fries they whipped up for me. And the wings are gluten free.

Good atmosphere with music. A bit on the small side for a restaurant with little seating. Bathrooms are clean, and food is average. People are nice it's a cute place in the country. Wanna say prices are a little high, but in these times, it's actually average giving the way everything is.

We stopped by Moogs Joint after a long day of hiking, not expecting anything special since we picked a random place from the internet. Turned out to be the most incredible place— amazing, friendly service and the BEST food I’ve ever eaten, even being gluten free. Such a cool little place!!!

Driven by this place and many times always wondered about it tonight we decided the bike from Underhill to eat dinner and have some drinks. The drinks were awesome. My wife always has a problems with drinks that she gets at other places, but she absolutely loved it. We were kind of in a rush, cause it was getting dark, but the food was great. The guy that served us was really nice. We will be back for sure as it's pretty close to our house. We didn't even realize that they have band nights and stuff looking forward to going back price was definitely on point considering the times that we are in, the bill was $94 and left $120. Posting just two pictures of the food because I didn't think about taking pictures until after we started eating and then chili dogs were awesome.

Husband, our youngest (2years old) and I made it there for dinner last night. Staff was prompt and efficient. The food was awesome! Hubby had a large portion of fish and chips and I had the stoner Mac! Both delish!!! Awesome atmosphere, even gave my hubby for an idea for a new kitchen table for us! lol We will be back for date night! Can't wait to try the wings!!
