The lobster bisque tasted like cream sauce, no flavor of lobster what so ever, the parmazan hoagie was disgusting. Nachos great.

Stopped in with my friend for our stay from RI; Went and had a steak and cheese which was excellent!! (Huge may I add) my friend had a French onion soup and was delicious she said!! Highly recommend because I’m a picky one and it was great! The waitress was very nice!

Enjoyed our meal here, though the menu is somewhat limited, particularly for my vegetarian daughter. Like many places, they are experiencing staffing issues but the quality of both the food and service was very good. The bar was lively and they seemed to be doing a good takeout business.

Bar is always going to be ok, bc it's a bar. They did however just get bought by a new owner, and I feel like some of the local vibes this place had before have dwindled considerably. If you go by the parking lot, American Grill which is in the next building, seems to be doing much more business (if you go there on a Thursday say hi to Alan Mann, the bartender!).Jake's will always have a place in my heart, mostly bc of the secret smoking area off the back porch! Haha, but I'm not sure about the new feeling of the place.

Have lived in the area for 2 years, bemoaning the fact that there was no good food or drink nearby! How blind I was to have not found this place earlier!!!! The bloody mary was the best I've had in years, outside of downtown Boston; the French onion soup was the best I've had since I lived in Montreal; and the meatloaf was to die for! Many other amazing things on the menu, as well!!!!! And the price was so low I had to ask the waitress to double check it!!!!!

Absolutely amazing restaurant! We stopped in for dinner while we spent the weekend at Stratton. This place is a hidden gem. Pizza was top notch. Calzone was packed with toppings. Bang Bang shrimp was next level. And the French onion soup *chefs kiss*If you are in the area and looking for a meal, come to Jake's. Service was great and so was every meal we ordered. If I could give 6 stars I would!

This place has one of the best cheesesteaks and fries anywhere! Stopped by while on vacation and just driving through the area. White American cheese, ribeye, and Amoroso quality roll! Thanks Jake!

Food is always really good. Service was good as well. Only complaint is the flies constantly flying around. Other than that everything else was really good. Especially the VT Cheddar & Tomato soup
