We normally come on Wednesday night burger night but we came on a Thursday. We had a burger that was cooked to medium and fish and chips. The amount of fish and fries were more than enough for a large eater and very tasty.

Loved Becca's dinner and Vince's breakfast. The waitstaff and housekeeping ladies were lovely...so friendly and kind. This place is a gem. Upper Pass/Red Slate is one of our favorite places to stay.

As true of a gem as you could hope to find; this restaurant is as incredible of a value and experience one could imagine. While having a three-night stay at the also amazing on-site lodge; we could not stay away from this place! I recommend the Maple Bourbon glazed steak which was easily one of the most flavorful and well cooked meals I’ve had in recent memory. The burger, wings, pizza, and salad were all just as outstanding and delicious. If ever in the area consider this an absolute must try!

Enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. The Montreal steak was melt in your mouth tender and cooked perfectly to order. The waitress was lovely and very attentive to our needs. We were staying at the lodge so we ate here multiple times. Each meal was delicious .I would definitely recommend.

The food was great and the service was amazing. Red Slate uses high quality ingredients with a touch of love when they make a meal for you. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner while staying at Upper Pass Lodge.

We had the burger/ beer Wednesday night special. The burger was cooked to perfection. Our server was friendly and took our order for food and drinks quickly and always has a smile. Thanks for a very nice and friendly meal on our night out.
Had dinner yesterday and everything was delicious! Had the chowder as a starter then the Montreal steak as my main course : perfectly cooked and very flavourful, they must use a grill or charcoal. Finished with the carrot cake and their version of a white russian cocktail using local spirits. Absolutely recommend it. Server was friendly and attentive.

The space is reminiscent of an old ski lodge, but the food was surprisingly good and the server was very attentive. If you want a legit feeling if Vermont for an evening, this place is ideal.

Vermont only beer, wine and spirits are served in this restaurant in the Upper Pass Lodge at Magic Mountain. Both servers were very good. Food was also very good. Outdoor seating available. Prices are very affordable.
