Stopped in with my 13 year old to grab something to go and was greeted by a very unfriendly man who quickly said “alls we got is pulled pork today!” Which was totally fine except the tone he used was awful. I responded that that was fine and that I wanted to use my restaurant.com certificate and he said “nope, not today, we stopped working with them last month” I explained that prior purchased certificates are supposed to be honored. He was quite rude and said no. He did offer to give me buy one sandwich get one free but I just couldn’t stomach having to even talk to him for one moment longer. He was so rude and unfriendly. It’s not what he said, it’s how he said it. As we walked out I told my daughter, “that’s how not to treat your customers. Businesses don’t join restaurant.com to make money on that transaction, it’s to get someone to stop in and try the food and hopefully gain a customer for life.” It was an eye opening experience for sure and a place we won’t return to again...ever.

Best breakfast sandwich in Vt. Try pulled pork with eggs and cheese. Great , friendly staff who quickly remembers regulars. Pretty fast as well given Vt. standards. Call ahead is always best way to go.

At the Merrimack NH rib festival now. The worst ribs ever they didn't even remove the silver skin! My grandmother makes em better and she's dead. No wonder there's nobody in line. Obviously these guys are here only for lazy people who don't want to wait in line for real ribs. Might as well have Macdonald here serving mcribs.Thought I'd cut em a break and try, bad move, threw 5 of the 6 ribs in the trash.

How has no one Yelp'd this spot? I think it may be easy to miss as you are headed out of this one pony town. The bbq is solid. My wish would be for some good bbq sides. Maybe I just had bad luck the day I stopped but there wasn't a side that said "Eat me southern lady". No corn bread?? No collards?? Not even corn on the cob?? That would be my first suggestion. As far as the store I would do a little spiffying up. It seems dark and cluttered inside. But I was there for the Q and it hit the spot. I am planning to go back soon! Y'all look for me.
