No white rice with entre? Small portions, low quality. Hopefully the dine in experience is better. Will not return.

Took a chance and stopped here for dinner. The whole experience was awesome and John the bartender was extremely knowledgeable.

This food is absolutely foul. Ordered chicken with broccoli and chicken lo-mein. They gave me literal SCRAPS of chicken. It was so disgusting I literally spit it out. I wouldn't even feed this food to my dog. So much for having decent Chinese food in Manchester. Save yourself the trouble and skip this place.

Wow, what a wonderful restaurant! We had one of the best Asian dinners, creative, beautifully presented, and delicious. Umami is far above your typical Chinese restaurant, though they do have many of the standard dishes you'd expect. The new decor is low key and comfortable, but it's the creative fusion dishes make this place special, the Herbed Seared Lemon Wild Salmon appetizer, Kimchi Ramen, and Slow Cooked Duck Breast were amazing with fresh ingredients and nuanced seasoning and flavors. Even something as standard as Pork Lo Mein was notches above the usual. Service was attentive, friendly, and informative about the food, and about the very creative cocktails. The Clarified Neapolitan Negroni was delicious!

Umami is a great addition to the excellent restaurant scene in Manchester!

We wanted to give this place a shot since the dine-in reviews seemed better than takeout, but unfortunately this place will be a one and done for my partner and I. The portions here are small and small portions of quality food can be ok but the food also tasted reheated, like everything had been frozen and just warmed up to order. One of us ordered a "wok" meal which wasn't even all cooked in a wok since it included bland, boiled broccoli on the plate. This $21 meal didn't include rice and we were upsold a side of fried rice, which we later found out was priced at an astounding $11. If the dine-in food was this rough I can't imagine what the takeout experience would be.

On the positive side, the inside of the restaurant is really nicely decorated, but you have to put up with yelling and frustration from the open kitchen which is offputting in a place that's trying to present upscale food.

Worth a visit if you're in Manchester or passing through. Creative asian fusion at a reasonable price. We liked the small plates a lot, especially the seaweed salad and the ribs. It's brand new and there are a few kinks they need to work out but the food is good. I suspect it will just get better the longer they're open.

This place has what it takes to be an AMAZING restaurant. The atmosphere and ambiance is amazing. We overheard each waiter recommend the bao buns so we ordered them and they were pretty subpar. I did love my ramen though it is a little different than a traditional ramen but still yummy. As for service, our waiter was not very attentive. We had to ask for the bill 3 times. I will say I was being very observant and the waiter at one of the tables by us was amazing. The restaurant wasn’t very busy and our food took an hour to come out. Please take this as constructive criticism because this place has what it takes to be great.

While we're sad Social is no longer, we definitely wanted to give this new place a try and we are glad we did. Amazing service - beautiful warm place - and the food was excellent. Go try it - I hope you have a great experience. Never did take out, so no comment on that. We plan on going again.

We’re local to the area and agreed it was some of the best food we’ve had in Manchester. Great flavors on both the menu and drinks and a wide variety of prices so you can still get a great meal affordably. Our server Alex was super knowledgeable of the menu and had great recommendations. We used to go to Social House and really enjoyed the creative cocktail menu- happy the same bartender is on the team! Looking forward to our next visit!

Kelli was a pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable waitperson. The complimentary baby Brussels sprouts in three sauces were surprisingly good (I loathe Brussels sprouts). The BBQ ribs were ok. The pork belly risotto was yummy (the strawberry cream a pleasant addition). The red snapper civiche...interesting concoction not likely to try again. Overall a pleasant experience. Oh...the Emperor Old Fashion was an ass kicker.

We got take out and it was fabulous. Do not listen to the poor reviews. We got Bang Bang Shrimp and General Tsos's Chicken. Zero issues. I highly recommend this place and hope it does well.

Food was fantastic. Best spare ribs I’ve ever had. There was a delay in getting our order which was inconvenient. But everyone was nice and understanding. Will order again for a special treat
