The best pizza in the area, and the people are great too. John the brewer was such a character. Lots of laughs.

Awesome pizza. Literally some of the best. Beer is also good. Comfortable and cozy. Not a lot of frills. Definitely stop in if you enjoy wood fire pizza!

Kid-friendliness: Games available for the kids while they wait. If you are considering this place,… don’t skip on it. Just go! So much flavor in the artichoke pizza. Great day date with my husband.

Our pizza was delicious, subtle hints of a real fire oven baked pizza. We will absolutely be back.Cathy and Liz were prompt, professional and fun, they were both super helpful and patient as I figured out my pizza ingredients lol.A few of the patrons had their dogs with them, I was well taken care of lol. It’s such a warm atmosphere that it really feels like what home was always meant to be.Makes me wish I had more time, instead of having to “carry out”..I will absolutely be back. You should stop in, it will be time well spent.Parking: I had no issues getting in and parking my Mercedes Sprinter 2500 with 144 extended chassis, parking, enjoying an amazing sunset and leaving without any of the usual problems that I would normally have with such a big vehicle.

Had the mushroom pizza and artichoke pizza. Overall good but not amazing. They also had board games which were fun while waiting for the pizza and are dog friendly. They are the same building as beer naked brewery

I was intrigued about this place a month or so prior when stopping at the gift shop/overlook which is below and on the other side of the road. It was extremely busy and I could see people on the deck which was much higher than where we were and as our view was already incredible, I made a mental note to return. Husband and I had a chance to do that yesterday and it was worth the trip! This is a laid back, smallish, brewery serving beer and fresh-made pizza and we loved it. We arrived before 5 when it was not very crowded and ordered cider and two pizzas - we couldn't decide. I had the pear, gorgonza, honey drizzled, etc, and he had the veggie (freaken vegan?). I loved my pizza! Yes, a little crispy on the edge but it's cooked in a real wood fire oven so to me it was part of what made the taste. It was delicious! The bartender told me when I ordered thay the pears had just been picked off a 200 year old pear tree. Cool! Yes, cash only which would have been a bummer as I'm not usually traveling with much cash but lucked out this day. We enjoyed the truly spectacular view from inside as there was a slight chill outside but others were sitting out on the patio and off to the side others enjoyed a fire in an outdoor fire pit. Inside fire was not going yet. The place got more crowded as we were there and added bonus was the live music performed by a young man named Logan who was an awesome guitarist/singer. My cider was excellent, didn't sample the beer but clearly others were enjoying it and many came back to the bar to try different brews. All in all, thoroughly enjoyed the laid back, casual atmosphere of this brewery while enjoying great foot and admiring the expansive view.

Whatever they serve, this thing is not pizza: it's flatbread with lots of toppings, some conventional, some out of the ordinary. Apparently lots of people like that stuff, so more power to them. And they also like the fact that the pizza is not brought to the table but you have to pick it up at the counter, more or less like in the burger joint you used to hang out in in high school. And they must also like the paper plates, the most basic and cheapest kind. Silverware, if you really really want it, is plasticware: careful not to cut the pie too vigurously or you will go throught the paperplate and start scratching the table's polyuretane surface. Even the most enthousiastic patrons probably don't like the taste.

I've been coming here for years in the fall. I still remember when the place closed for renovation and we all ate from the food truck. Nowadays, it seems much busier than before. Beer is still good. Pizza is delicious (fungi one is the best!). But it's also a much longer wait to order and to get the food. I could no longer get a seat on the balcony. It was packed with college age kids the past two time I stopped by.

Such a treat after a hike or a great meeting place if you don't want to cook. The spot is unbeatable with views to inspire, and the food is wonderful fresh pizza and beer. So super fun. CASH ONLY is always a stinker so come prepared. Also closes too early at 7 - super unhelpful because we almost never make it. But hey-we all need ways to create balance in our lives so I feel them.

Great views from Hogback mountain while enjoying hand crafted pizza and beer. Thursday and Saturday evenings are great at sundown

Best food we have had on our whole trip to Vermont. Beer was good and the views are spectacular. Great stop if you are in the area.
