Boutique hotel with fine dining. Food was absolutely amazing, delicious and they have a large wine list. Each room is different and the feel is like dining in a room in a mansion. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Amazing food and location. Beautiful space and impeccable service. We were a large party and in middle of the main dining room. In the future I would ask to be seated in a quieter side room so that we could hear everyone at the table. Older members of our group had a difficult time hearing anyone not seated directly next to them.

Our server Sara was outstanding. Articulate and kind. I think the only thing I'd pass on is that in the main dining room when all the tables were full, the noise level became so overwhelming that we all felt like leaving. We had finished our meal and had enjoyed the evening though. Also, my husband is a vegetarian and there was only one dish that was fully a vegetarian dish. Perhaps more selections for vegetarians.

Second visit to Jessica's and dinner was once again, excellent. Staff was very friendly and sommelier very informative. Party of five (four out-of-state visitors) enjoyed our visit. I resisted the (awesome) Duck Two Ways this visit, in favor of the Red Snapper w/green chutney and polenta (a special of the day) which was a winner! Delicious wine.

We were pleasantly surprised by Jessica's food. The clam chowder was excellent and the red snapper special was very good. My wife felt the scallops, while tasty, were a tad overdone and her maple creme brulee was good. I had a cake/ice cream option that was good but too large. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. While the service wasn't the best we've ever had, it was perfectly fine for a busy Valentine's Day night in Vermont nd we weren't rushed at all. Our one minor gripe was that it took a long time to get the bottle of wine that we ordered. It turned out they were out of it and brought a couple of other options for us. The wine list is extensive but we might just do glasses next time. Jessica's isn't cheap but we would go again for special occasions.

Jessica's is a total gem in the sweet town of Middlebury, Vermont. Food creative and delicious with an attentive service. Lovely Inn with a modern touch. Particularly loved the bar with knowledgable female bartender who is charming, professional and creates delicious and inventive cocktails. Highly recommend the Halibut and Steak Frites. Thank you to Matthew and his great team for a memorable meal and also accommodating our late breaking additional guest on a busy night.

My wife and I made our first visit to Jessica's while celebrating our anniversary. We both agreed it was the best meal we've had in ages. Literally every single bite was amazing. Loved the setting as well. Can't wait to return!

"I love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Jessica's and had a thoroughly lovely evening. The food was a creative combination of delicious flavours, the staff were charming - Maia has a beautiful gentle energy and the hosts were warm and welcoming. We were seated near the fire place, the mantlepiece was decorated for Christmas. It was all excellent. I would thoroughly recommend.

We enjoyed the drinks and very tasty salads. As vegetarians, we ordered the only veggie entree option, the gnocchi, which was a disappointment. Next time I will order the Caesar for an appetizer and the scrumptious Brussels sprout salad for my main dish, instead.

This is one of Vermont's outstanding restaurants where the food variety, quality and preparation are in a class by themselves. The service is attentive without being intrusive and completely knowledgeable. Having eaten there several times I can attest that this quality is consistently reliable and is the perfect choice for any “special occasion”

My husband and I went to Jessica's for a date night. The food was delicious. We split the beet salad. They split it for us. My husband had a whisky warm and a von trapp. I had the gimlet. The drinks were tasty. For meals we had the steak and the scallops. All so so very good. No dessert we were too full. It was expensive but so delicious and a nice place that we would go again.

Middlebury is fortunate to have some great food options in the area for a relatively small town, and Jessica's at Swift House In is among the best of those. I wish my trip wasn't so short this time - I'd probably go back again tonight!

We enjoyed the Thanksgiving prix fixe dinner. The Beef Wellington was amazing. Our waiter was attentive and made good suggestions regarding the menu. Thankful for finding Jesica's today and will return.

Fabulous dinner at Jessica's last night! New owners Matthew and Serena have really taken things up a notch. Menu is seasonally inspired and diverse but not sprawling. We each had an appetizer/salad and then a special main and the halibut. All were delicious as was the quince sorbet. Lovely all around. We'll be back often!
