Crooked Ladle has become mine and my boyfriend’s favorite spot, and only after two visits. Last summer we’d walk by and I was always in awe of the plants, but never took a chance and walked inside. We don’t typically go out to eat, we both love to cook and can guarantee our meals are filling. Keeping the aforementioned in mind; each time the service, drinks and meals were exceptional and we did not go home hungry! You get a full plate of food and for a reasonable cost. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Absolutely love this place. My partner and I quickly became regulars, and we are always excited to recommend Crooked Ladle to friends and family when they are in the area. The atmosphere is really special, full of beautiful plants (which are all for sale btw) and good vibes. The food, drinks and staff are really what keeps us coming back for more! Right now my faves are the chili lime mule and rosemary pork dumplings. Cocktails and fare have a phenomenal balance of unique and adventurous but comforting and familiar. Would always recommend!

Amazing cocktails and service but the food was kind of unpredictable and small portions. It’s hard to tell how much you’re going to get based on the menu categories smalls, bigs, and fancies. I ordered a dumpling dish under the category “bigs” and it had three bite size dumplings. Also our gnocchi was oddly crumbly. But my friends got the gyros and they loved them and the vibe is really good inside.

Went out of our way to come here. Even though the sign said open Sat @ 4:30 the door was locked when we arrived at 5:30 PM. 2 staff members were behind the bar but ignored us and the 2 other people who tried to enter. All we could surmise was that maybe there was a private party later that night? But no "closed for private party" sign on the door or anything of the sort. Not the way to run a business.

I love this place! Im always excited to try their specials, they are always delicious. The latest special was steak frites, and it was absolutely mouthwatering. Service is awesome, always friendly and prompt. Bartender knows how to make a tasty drink too. Only thing I don’t like is I can’t figure out the doors sometimes, but that’s my own fault because I never know whether to push or pull.

Mainly go for the live music and atmosphere, the food and drinks are expensive and nothing to write home about. Bland and/or too sweet. The service is good at the bar, I try to avoid the tables.
I’ve come here several times and ordered something different almost every time, and have never been disappointed! They have a great rotating variety of cocktails and I’m always excited to see what’s on the menu. Foods trend rich and are always tasty. (The only time I’ve disliked something was my own fault for ordering the brisket with horseradish coleslaw when I know I don’t like horseradish- but anyway, know thyself). Pictured are the falafel wrap, flank steak, and some cocktails which I have regrettably forgotten the details of besides that the green one had Midori and was just as good as it looks. Not pictured were a swordfish steak, a delicious flourless chocolate torte, and a nonalcoholic cocktail with ginger in it that was actually so good. (Oftentimes ginger drinks are not spicy enough for my liking, but this one was perfect- I was getting punched in the throat by ginger and enjoying every moment). This is my go-to spot for date nights and out-of-town guests, and the ambiance is always great too. Awesome spot.
