I have such mixed feelings about this place. On the one hand, they make a very good donut and a passable bagel, they are one of few breakfast places in Middlebury, and their prices are reasonable. On the other hand, they're not open on Sundays (when people want to go out for breakfast!), they regularly run out of donuts, and they're not the friendliest. Every Sunday I wake up with a donut craving and curse them!

Had a great experience here last weekend while traveling through Vermont. We had a breakfast sandwich, cinnamon raisin bagel and a glazed donut. Everything was delicious and the glazed donut was amazing!

okay bagels are very good BUT the staff is always rude to me, in contrast to how they are with other guests. Every time I come here I see them act all friendly with others and then get short with me. It’s happened so many times that it DOES feel like racial/religious profiling and bias. sucks.

We are from out of town and stumbled into this adorable shop. Julie greeted us, made us feel very welcome, and took good care of us. Our bagels were delicious as was the coffee. Wish we lived nearby!
