I would prefer 3.5, but I’d rather just round up to 4 if I had to choose between a 3 and a 4 because it is a well-meaning business. The site is well kept and the staff is friendly. Everything seemed very clean including the bathrooms. Not busy at lunch time on a Saturday for Labor Day weekend which was surprising. The food and beers we had were good. They really need the rethink their sides. A tiny salad or tortilla chips (potato salad was out that day)?? I’d rather have potato chips, fries, or something similar as an option. The tortilla chips were just not good (dry and thick with no salsa) and the salad was nothing special. The interior is an odd space too. It gives me mall food court vibes with its uncomfy, hallow metal chairs.

I had a few issues with this place.1. There’s not enough outdoor seating.2. The menu on google seemed to be different than the menu in house, this should be updated. 3. A few items were unavailable off the menu.4. The tortilla chips that are served with different dishes were burnt tasting.5. I asked for bbq sauce on the side on my pork sandwich due to dietary restrictions and my sandwich came out slathered in it. When I sent it back I was told they’re out of pork at 1:30 on a Saturday. This made me a bit upset because the pork was good but my order wasn’t completed correctly. We were also charged for our replacement meal and had to ask for it to be comped.6. The food takes forever to come out.The waitress was sweet and handled everything well but obviously the kitchen staff is slow/understaffed.Not sure how the beer is, the offerings sounded simple. I don’t plan on returning. I’m sure the food is great but it’s unfortunate our experience was so bad.

Great spot to hang out. The outdoor area has a nice ambiance and a good amount of picnic tables that seat larger (6-8 people) groups. The beer we all ordered was great, blackbeary was a favorite. We also ordered some chips and salsa, felt that the portion was a bit small to share in our group of five so ended up also ordering jalapeño dip. Great option in Middlebury, I recommend a stop here.

Awesome brewery with great staff and beers! We're from the UK and can't wait to return in April!

We loved the beer and the nachos plus the food. Patio/greenspace is very nice when the weather is.

Pseudo-southwestern food in a Sterile Museum HallwayBoring enough beer, lackluster vegetarian food on a weird menu (though I hear this may change soon); consistently weird vibes in dining area. Weird hours and reservation system. Weird.

Booked online as it was recommended on the website. Received confirmation. Drove one hour to get there. Arrived and the guy told us it was closed. Just don’t let us reserve if you are not open. Switching booking off on OpenTable is probably really easy.« They know how to TAKE the reservation. They don’t know how to HOLD the reservation. Which is really the most important part of the reservation: the holding. »

The best chicken nachos on the planet. Beyond good. Beer is great too. Fabulous service. We will be back.

Made a reservation for 11:30am knowing that's when they open so ready to wait while they finished prepping but staff was ready with smiles. Good service has (understandably) been hard to find but we had a great lunch, quick service, great food and drinks. Thanks, Otter Creek Brewing! We both drove quite a distance to meet up for lunch and are grateful for the smooth dining experience! I'll be back. Cheers!

Otter Creek Brewing was the first stop of our VT craft beer weekend. We sat outside and enjoyed an Otter Creek Copper Ale (me) and Shed Peach Blonde (Jane). Did not realize that Long Trail Brewing had bought Otter Creek as well as Shed. We shared an El Cobre Quesadilla for a snack- it was really good. Not spicy at all. Our server was very friendly and happy to answer our many questions. Definitely worth a stop.

Great place! Wish they had more brews (I miss some of the old ones), but it's a great place with great beer! It's really interesting to watch the production floor while you're sampling.

Excellent beer, food was fantastic! We shared the chicken sandwich, which was yummy with fresh jalapeno peppers and spicy sauce, along with their special chicken stew. Fresh ingredients, very flavorful! I would definitely recommend Otter Creek Brewing!

Having been a brewery shift manager in NJ for over a year, I understand closures for COVID, staffing shortages, reservation requirements and the lot, but please update your hours or something. I've visited 3 times in 6 months, all by which were days you were expected to be open, all of which you were not. It's a little too unreliable to consider driving over for a pint if customers can't be sure your doors are open or closed.
