Cake was terrible. Filling was not as described and the cake was dry. We tried some and threw the rest away. Wasnt edible. No offer of a refund or any compensation.

Ordered a special gluten free, vegan carrot cake for a special birthday party from Thistle and Honey, and it was soooo good! Rich balanced flavors, super moist and not too sweet. If I hadn’t known, I would not have guessed it was gluten free vegan. It was that good. Communicating with Nikki was also super easy and delivery was flawless. Highly recommend!

Nikki’s flavors are amazing. I ordered an almond and orange birthday cake for a discerning crowd and they loved it! No one noticed that it was gluten free!

Absolutely Delicious & Amazing Service! Nikki did an incredible job with our wedding cake and cupcakes! Not only were they absolutely delicious, but they were also beautifully made—perfect for our winter wedding. Beyond her amazing talent, she was so professional and easy to talk to throughout the entire process. She made the experience stress-free, and truly delivered above and beyond our expectations. The cherry pie was delicious!

It was a little hard to find, but the service was fantastic and the pie I ordered was one of the best pumpkin pies we have ever had!

Nikki did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding cake and cupcakes for our guests. She brought our vision of our wedding cake to life and made the best cake I have ever had! Our guests are still raving about how good the cupcakes were! Nikki was super easy to work with and very on top of things! We highly recommend Thistle & Honey Baking if you ever need baked goods!

Nikki did an amazing job with our frilly retro 70s wedding cake. It looked incredible and tasted as good as it looked, she matched the reference photos perfectly. Our guests loved the vanilla lavender flavor, it was just subtle enough that it wasn't obviously floral and everyone was asking about it. Their coordination with our venue also made everything so easy, it felt like the cake just appeared. Thank you so much!!

I'm very happy I chose Thistle and Honey baking for my wedding! I have a huge sweet tooth, so the dessert table was one of my big priorities. The apple orchard cake was a huge hit! And it was decorated beautifully with fall leaves. Nikki also helped us choose options for our guests with allergies. We chose salted caramel tarts (a favorite of mine) and GF/DF mini apple pies to fill out the table. Absolutely scrumptious!

Thistle and Honey Baking I would give her 10/10, Nikki is amazing. Everything was perfect, the cake, the price. I can’t rave enough about Thistle and Honey Baking.To be honest I didn’t know finding a baker was going to be my hardest task for my wedding. As you see I have a very severe allergy to tree, nuts, and anything with coconut. So a lot of companies felt that I would be a liability with baking a cake for until I found Nikki. But you know what they say. You gotta go through a lot of nose to find the perfect one who will say yes Nikki helped me every set of the way.She was fantastic, as we were having a destination wedding, so she emailed me everything that I needed, and make sure my wedding cake was perfect for my wedding day. She even expedited and mailed us our sample cake tastings, which she made into mini cupcakes. We fell in love with her pumpkin cake with ginger cookie crumble & cinnamon, buttercream, frosting. It was funny. Actually, my husband was obsessed with the pumpkin cake, and I knew no one was going to believe that I didn’t pick it out that he was the actual one that picked it out, so once we cut the cake and passed out to everyone, everyone loved our wedding cake. Our family and friends loved our wedding cake so much people had second pieces and third pieces, we didn’t even have enough to “save for our first year anniversary”. I’ve never had so many compliments just on our wedding cake itself. The wedding cake itself was so creamy, smooth, and moist. I personally normally I’m not a sweet person I don’t even eat cake and 90% of the time but oh my gosh do I wish that we had gotten like a four or five tier cake that way we could just have extra to have eaten that night of the wedding after everyone left, and to have some for first year anniversary. I cannot stress enough how fabulous Nikki was, and is me and my husband have now been married for six months, and I promise you guys at least once or twice a month. He talks about our wedding cake and brings it up about how much he he wishes we had more, so I’ve contacted Nikki and she even express mailed me some pumpkin cupcakes for six months anniversary and it’s a total surprise, I’m so excited for him to see what Nikki has made for us.

Nikki was incredible and a pleasure to work with. She allowed us to be creative and took the time to understand the types of flavors and decor that we were going for. Since we were out of state and wanted a wedding cake for our elopement, she made time to speak with me over the phone, we arranged for a tasting box to be shipped to our home state, which arrived quickly, and after a few follow up questions, she had all the information that she needed to create a masterpiece. Upon delivery, the cake was everything that my husband and i could have asked for and as for flavor well, she nailed it!!!!(photo credit to Anne Mientka)

Thistle and Honey Baking makes amazing desserts and cakes! On the spot she made a strawberry shortcake for my fiancé and he almost ate the whole thing. She is so creative with what she makes and everything tastes delicious! I will definitely continue to order from her!
