Funky little divey tavern with a kick ass patio.
Service was nice and efficient.
I got an espresso martini, it was fine- nothing special but not bad.
We got the chips and salsa- the chips were very stale, the salsa was fine. It was just loaded with raw garlic and seemed like a kicked up jarred product.
We got the Philly cheese steak, which was a hollowed out, untoasted baguette. 90% of the cheese steak was falling out of the sandwich. It was tasty but also just kinda dumb.
The burger we asked for medium. It came out well done and lifeless.

From when we ordered to when we left took about 20 minutes. I wish the kitchen team showed any amount of integrity to take their time and give us a worthy product instead of rushed, half-assed experience.

The potential is there

We had a fantastic experience at Two Brothers Tavern in Middlebury! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of local charm. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.
The food was excellent perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Whether you're in the mood for classic pub fare or something a bit more elevated, their menu has something for everyone.
The bar selection was also impressive.
Overall, it was a memorable night filled with good food, great and drinks. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!

Portion sizes are suitable for 1 to 2 meals, absolutely delicious place to eat. Staff was friendly and accommodating of a family with young children.

It was great. Perfect pub food with some added twists, classic ambience, casual, yummy, reasonably priced, and fit our needs and wants perfectly.

The worst dining experience I have had in a long time.

Yesterday we visited this pub, and unfortunately, everything turned out to be a complete disaster. The dishes offered were basic and simple in concept, yet their execution was appalling. It is essential to warn future customers to avoid ordering them.

We ordered a fish and chips dish, which, far from being fresh fish, was a processed product, poorly fried, with an unpleasant texture, accompanied by visibly burnt fries. The second dish, a Korean sandwich, was equally disappointing: it contained no natural chicken, only an industrial, low-quality preparation, once again burnt.

Faced with such a situation, we requested the waitress to express our dissatisfaction. Although she agreed to replace the dishes, she immediately — and without us asking — brought us the bill. The gesture was as clear as it was uncomfortable: an explicit invitation to leave the premises.

A truly regrettable experience that I absolutely do not recommend. Poor treatment and careless cooking that fall far below any acceptable standard.

We have been coming to Middlebury for years, but this was the first time we discovered this treasure of a restaurant. The food and presentation was excellent, while reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning!!!

Can be a little slow at times, but it's usually packed, and i promise, it is worth the wait. Food is ALWAYS good here. no matter what you get, you won't be disappointed.

GREAT soups
AWESOME Apps
KILLER Entres
BEST Cheesesteaks in town, hands down, not even close.

Can't wait to go back

Disappointed; hamburgers were overcooked, fries were soggy and rolls were served cold, not toasted. We have had better burgers there and elsewhere.

The food and drinks were wonderful. I was happy to see that the menu includes information about vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. There were also options for alcohol free drinks. We were there early (4:30), so the noise level might go up later in the evening, but it was very easy to carry on a conversation during our meal.

Great food, great environment. We really enjoyed dining at the two brothers tavern. Wheelchair accessible too.

A restaurant in Vermont on a 12 degree day with virtually no heat!! We froze even wearing our hats and jackets through lunch Food and service were fine but the lack of heat was inexcusable

Eaten here many times, always happy and excited to come back. This night was regrettably an exception. All our food was below their usual standards. It happens. Maybe a bad night or sub chef. We will still come back for sure.
