Omakase at the Tavern

I would never support the owner. Google his name he’s not only a woman abuser, but he’s a raging Coke head and has major anger issues. So much drugs come in and out of this establishment. Multiple occasions, he has kept his business open past hours for his buddies to party and do a bunch of Coke in the basement and drink while on multiple occasions his child was present. This is not someone I would give my money too.

Food was awsome, service was way more than perfect (Jackie), we had a great time, what else can I say?
Why are you still waiting? Go try it yourself!!!

What a lovely place. Staff was super friendly and outdoor seating is cute. Looks like a small community where people just get into chat with each others.
Food is interesting. Fried kimchi rice was spot on and their daily specials too. Not your average asian restaurant. Decent selection of beers is also a plus.
Definitely coming back!

Our first time trying the food here. We came on Sushi night - it is a separate menu but they do have some regular food items to choose from.
We had the pork egg rolls and pork belly bao buns. Superb!

For sushi, we had the dragon roll and the Philly roll. I’ve eaten a lot of sushi and the dragon roll maybe the best roll I’ve ever had.

Large sake to wash it all down with!

Absolutely impeccable unexpected gourmet cuisine. As someone who has worked high end kitchens, Omakase has 5-star quality food, with the most casual calm and efficient service. Great vibes in and outside the restaurant and they set such a relaxed tone that when a strikingly beautiful dish comes to your table it makes it so easy to savor every bite. I will be back for more

What an authentic, flavourful and chill spot. The food is real, like you just stepped off a plane and headed to the streets of Bangkok. The staff is super friendly and honest. A must while in the area.

An absolute gem - the food is fantastic and the team is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We've come as a couple and with a large group ahead of our wedding. The dining room is gorgeous, bar is very cozy with a great bourbon selection. Sunday sushi nights can't be missed! Cannot recommend this place enough.

This place is an absolute gem. Every single thing we have tried has been world class quality. The atmosphere is great, and the service is fantastic. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. The bar is well stocked with fantastic variety. I could go on and on, but bottom line: I would never pass up an opportunity to stop in, whether for something quick like a drink or a full meal with friends and family. We will continue to plan our Jay trips around the days they are open. No where else in the area comes close.

After waiting for four hours I got yelled racist remarks and was somehow told I was gay. For a place that is never open it was very disappointing. Also their dogs bit my hand and I got food poisoning. Pooping all day.

The owner also started to make a pass at my 11 year old daughter and her friends. Definitely a diddler.

Best restaurant in town. Great food, atmosphere, service and drinks. If you bring your kids grab them one of the mini ring toss games from the corner.

It was soooo great. The wait was worth it and everything tasted amazing and our server was the best.

They were having a rough night when I was there. Overbooked and overwhelmed.

Wasn’t seated until 15 minutes after my reservation. Didn’t get service for another 15 after that. Server was a bit of a space cadet but she did ok.

App was cold. Salad was amazing. Entree was good but not great.

I expect they are normally much better, but that’s not really the point.
