The bang bang shrimp, pork gyoza, and tuna volcano were all highlights, each bursting with flavor. The salmon poke bowl was fresh and vibrant, while the pork katsudon was a unique and satisfying choice. “Been here many times over the past few years. Today, Nikki was exceptional as a server, and really put in effort to keep our table going! Every other time the service was okay, but today Nikki was really organized, and every table around us clearly took notice.”

“We were skiing at Jay Peak and stopped for dinner. They have fiesta nights on Mondays and it was surprisingly good Mexican food for small town Vermont. Food was fresh, big portions, strong and big margaritas, and very reasonable pricing. We loved it, would definitely recommend if you are in the area! The restaurant is quite small, so you may have to wait a little, but it’s worth it!”

“I had the “Thirsty burger” when I ate here. It was absolutely fantastic. It was the best burger I have ever had. I go to the enosburg area every once and a while and try different foods to write about. This one deserves a spotlight. Good job to whomever cooks these burgers. They are hands down the best.”

“Don catered our wedding, and his pizza was such a hit. It is so incredibly tasty, crispy, and well cooked. There are a great mix of classic and unique flavors, and everyone was blown away by the food. We didn’t have to worry about any elements of the dinner at our wedding. Don came with his own set-up complete with tables, a tent, and plates and cutlery and was ready to go serving pies right at dinner time. I seriously cannot recommend this pizza enough, and would highly recommend hiring Fire on the Mountain for your next event. It’s high quality, genuinely good pizza that everyone can enjoy and brings such a warm, upbeat, and casual mood to any affair. Don is so laid back and we felt so confident going into the wedding that he had everything under control and we had nothing to worry about.”

“You would think a menu with 96 items in a small town would have a hit or miss menu. Not with these guys. One fish dish, one Mexican dish, one wrap, and one burger and all the dishes were great!Very impressed. Good service too.”

“we enjoyed our stay here! very big fan of the check in process, which is simply picking up the key to your room. and check out was leaving your key in a cup. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the quilt was heavy and wonderful. my husband did experience a cold shower in the morning. I did enjoy a hot shower in the afternoon. there were also a dozen or so ladybugs around, however we know that isn’t too much in their control. the bathroom was large and clean. everything was very simple. there is cable tv, however we had to unplug the tv at night bc it acted as a nightlight? any motion and it would brighten for a long time until it was still again. never experienced something like that before. it was very close to town. and close enough to jay peak.”

“this place is IT! we devoured the basil cream mussels. out of this world. the blackened alfredo was absolutely amazing. the bartender tho? slay. megan made drinks for everyone in that establishment and she did it flawlessly. amazing place!”

“The waiters are not enough to serve everyone when it is busy. The food itself is okay and size is pretty big! If you are not hungry, it is better to share with your friends. The nacho is recommended. Burger is fine, the chicken quesadilla is a little bit too salty.Have breakfast there two days as well, in general it is good except the fruit is not fresh and smells not good.”

“We had a great experience at the clubhouse. Our bartender Cary-Lynn was outstanding. She is very personable, enthusiastic, and cute. She cared for us. Additionally, the burgers and onion strings were very good. They also had live music on Friday night. It was a good vibe!”

“Nice thin crust pizza, made fresh (20 minutes) with ample toppings. Accessible from the stairs to the Tram and from 1st floor of Hotel Jay. $20 for a large 16” pizza. A serve yourself type joint with about 8 tables.”

“We went here on our first night at jay peak. Didn’t expect much as options are limited on a ski hill, however we were pleased surprised with the food. We ordered the thai chilli wings and loaded fries. The portions were enough for two- three people to share. 9 wings for $18 and a good serving of fries. The fries were cheesy with a nice amount of meat and they were really good when they were hot. The wings were piping hot when they arrived but overall had a nice flavour and were cooked well.”

“This was a great spot to grab some lunch at Jay to warm up between our runs. We got some pretzel bites to start and were SHOCKED at how many there were for the price! It was a huge basket! It came with cheese and mustard, I love cheese so that was great, mustard- I could personally pass because I'm not big on mustard. The pretzel bites were chewy and salty! I got the salmon burger which was tasty with a kimchi topping. It came on a brioche bun which was tasty, but I ended up not eating it because I had filled up on the pretzel bites! The staff is super friendly and it's a very relaxed atmosphere.”
