“I was expecting more of a restaurant than a bar. The food was more on par with a diner food, it's not bad but it wasn't great either.I couldn't find any hours listed outside and they definitely are not open 24 hours.”
“Sutton seemed full of people - and we just wanted a light lunch (that wasn't pizza). Another merchant suggested this little cafe and it was perfect. Simple and quaint, felt like we were somewhere in Europe (Poland, maybe?). Two offerings each of soup and scones - all really good! Service was charming and we were really glad we'd stopped at this lovely shop.”
“Wow an INCREDIBLE selection of rare wine and beer!!!You have the option to consume on site or buy take out!!The price of the bottles is super reasonableI highly recommend”
“OMG. One of the best breakfasts. I had the "58" dish. It was so good. It's a bit spicy but if you the kind of person that like a bit spiciness, I highly”
“Must be my favorite dinner/lunch spot in Sutton. It's delicious, always hot and consistent. I have yet to try the poke bowl but the ramen is killer. I usually get the extra mushroom and egg to top it off. It's a very popular place so if you know you're going, send a txt and reserve. The service is friendly and they move quick.”
“Qu’elle belle découverte ce restaurant ! Tout y est ; ambiance, décor, bouffe, service et que dire des cocktails !! Le propriétaire est vraiment dynamique et sympathique. Un arrêt s’impose si vous passez par Sutton et que vous êtes amateurs de bouffe mexicaine.”
“Excellent find in Enosburgh! Can't say enough positive things. Stopped by on a whim and will definitely be back! Arguably best tex-mex/ Central American food in the state I've had.”
“Sutton’s must-have business for a long time! Everything is excellent and high quality. My only regret is that there is no branch of La Rumeur Affamée in Bromont….”
“This place s a gem! Love the volcano roll and miso soup ramen after a cold day on the mountain! The sandwiches and fries are also delicious. 10/10 recommend this place to all!”
“If you don't know this bakery, I strongly recommend that you go take a look. You will be surprised to see the choice of breads and pastries that are so delicious. The crabapples, the chocolatines, the croissants, etc., everything is excellent.”
“I have recently moved to Sutton and have known this bakery for years. Many friends worked there and their baked goods and extra wonderful offerings (local jams etc…) are legendary. But, I recently discovered they bake Challas every second Friday. What a delight. My family will enjoy the Challas. Thank you”
“We cannot thank you enough for the most amazing double tier birthday/christening cake you created for our daughter. We absolutely loved it, it was just perfect. You are so incredibly talented”
“An institution in Sutton for decades gets a refresh from the owners of Teva in Cote des Neiges. This is actually a forward looking rating as I know what the new owners can do.Check out the drop dead delicious beurre d’amandes Bio de Les Crustillantes.Instant fandom!”
“The food is outstanding every single time. It isn't fancy and doesn't need to be. They have the sweetest servers, a menu that has something for everyone, and we always feel like family when we go.”
“Don catered our wedding, and his pizza was such a hit. It is so incredibly tasty, crispy, and well cooked. There are a great mix of classic and unique flavors, and everyone was blown away by the food. We didn’t have to worry about any elements of the dinner at our wedding. Don came with his own set-up complete with tables, a tent, and plates and cutlery and was ready to go serving pies right at dinner time. I seriously cannot recommend this pizza enough, and would highly recommend hiring Fire on the Mountain for your next event. It’s high quality, genuinely good pizza that everyone can enjoy and brings such a warm, upbeat, and casual mood to any affair. Don is so laid back and we felt so confident going into the wedding that he had everything under control and we had nothing to worry about.”
“It is absolutely tasty beer with lime. Thank a lot ? ? ❤️ ? ?I can easily stop paying attention to how much love and happiness cafe gives to people. I respect how much you have done for me last time, That it the reason, I came back. I appreciate in the past when you took care of me as a client.Your work gives feelings of joy , especially because you are delightfully honest with clients.I hope that you need my humble note.Your food can happly whisper to people about care. Good luck ?Vegetarian options: Yes, it is good French frys.Dietary restrictions: Some food approaches for vegan.Kid-friendliness: Usually people coming here with teenagers to have family time, play board games and dance.Wheelchair accessibility: Sorry, but there is one step inside of the front door.”
“The 3 flavors of Hershey ice cream that were available were great. Soft serve vanilla and maple were good, chocolate was ok. Excellent prices and kind service. There is one table and a few benches to sit on.”
“I'm not completely sure how to explain my experience. I happened upon this local watering hole completly unplanned.Since most people don't read the full review, I should start my saying that I had a great time and met an amazing artist named Bill who is a regular at the establishment. The singer tonight was enjoyable to listen to and has a great sense of humor.(I called out for "Free bird" and he flipped me off with a smile on his face and said. "Here you go this one is on the house".)Now for the negatives.I ordered and Old Fashioned and the bar tender was unaware of how to make it.She asked for assistance and wasn't given proper instruction.I had a second one and gave her some tips on how it's made. It was much better. The food wasn't great. But it wasn't bad either.I opted to go for the appetizer sampler. I chose the eggs, gherkins, and mozz sticks. The egg was wonderful. The mozz sticks aren't sticks at all, but actually balls. The gherkins aren't actually gherkins but instead regular fried dill chips and very salty.Overall I gave it a 4 star review because as a local "dive bar" it hits the mark.In closing I would like to say that I WILL DEFINITELY visit this establishment again. The overall experience was good despite some minor bits.I didn't make any comments to the owners or workers about my experience, other than the explanation of the "old fashioned".”
“Absolutely amazing!Food was to die for! All 5 of us got an entree that everyone tried a bite of and everyone was blown away at how delicious it all was!The food is local, so the price is fair! The inside is small, so it is loud and kind of cramped during busy hours- make sure you get a reservation- they have limited seating!Hands down the best food we have tried in all of Vermont!”
“We stayed at the Black Lantern Inn this February to ski Jay Peak. We had a great stay at the Inn. Rooms were clean and the GM, Kathy was great and accommodating. She always had coffee and muffins ready for us every morning before we left for skiing. The restaurant is great as well!Nearby activities: Ski Jay Peak!!”
“My husband likes to drink and this place has good food and is more than just a bar. Be careful on weekends in the winter there are a lot of skiers in town and it is loud when they are busy.”
“(Translated by Google) Skiing is good in Sutton, but Le Tucker is genius. I passed on my passion to my daughter!!!(Original)Le ski est bon a Sutton, mais Le Tucker, c'est genius,. J'ai transmis ma passion a ma fille !!!”
“Very nice well restored building. Plenty of parking in front and much more in back. Also an entrance in the back and front.Very friendly staff and the customer is well tended to.We had the Stuffed Shrimp and it was very good. Ample portions. The owner has decades of experience in the business which shows in the presentation of your plated meal. A bit pricey but at this point in time what isn’t. We will definetly go back.Hats off to our waitress and owner ! Last time I had been in the Quincy building was about 50 years ago .”
“Wonderful meal and excellent service. The pizza was really good (thin crust which we like) with quality ingredients. Also had the beet salad special which was amazing.”
“Absolutely delicious! And it was maybe the only restaurant open in town on a Sunday night. We'd just skied at Bromont and were heading to Sutton for the next day. The Poutine Canard (duck) was excellent as was the Maple Burger. The soup of the day was a very hearty and warming sweet potato that embodied winter eating. All the ingredients were spot on top choice. And to wash it down I chose the excellent DDH IPA "Where Dreams go to Die". Traveling to the eastern townships is an annual thing for us and we're so glad to have found this place!”
“My daughters and I loved it! During the week they serve Mexican cuisine and WoW! Best nachos and burrito ever! It’s home cooking prepared with a lot of love. Plus the non-alcoholic mango margarita was sublime! Inexpensive menu and very personalized service. The parking lot in the back can be very muddy so don't have your nicest white shoes! The toilets were really very clean. The place is small but very warm. Lots of take-outs, people seem to really like this restaurant.Parking: Behind not much room and maybe in the mud. Otherwise there is street parking.”
“This is a discovery that pleasantly surprised me. I had a bagel brunch buffet. He had a nice variety of dishes, each one as delicious as the next. Plus, the service is super good. I recommend this place without hesitation.”
“You would think a menu with 96 items in a small town would have a hit or miss menu. Not with these guys. One fish dish, one Mexican dish, one wrap, and one burger and all the dishes were great!Very impressed. Good service too.”
