Cute small place, Thursday is Mexican night! Highly recommend, the best Mexican I've found so far on northern Vermont (despite it not being a Mexican restaurant). Service was a bit slow but not bad. Happy overall! Full disclosure, I've only ever been here for Mexican night so I cannot vouch for the rest of the food, but I'm sure that would be good too :)

After a cold and windy Jay ski day, Bernie’s Prime Rib hit the spot! Come hungry on Saturday if you don’t want to take home leftovers.

The Maple Glazed Pork chop was full of flavor as well!

The quesadillas are BOMB. Didn’t expect to get good Mexican food, but you should definitely try this place out. The service was a little slow when It was busy, but the food came out hot!

Such a cute local gem! We were there for a fiesta night and ordered off the Mexican menu. The beans were flavorful and the chicken was cooked with onions and peppers- they are also generous with the accoutrements (sour cream and guac). It was a friendly local vibe. Hit the spot after a long drive!

Some of the best breakfasts and dinners I've ever had have been here. Latest trip's highlights were the Thanksgiving special, fish tacos, the burrito could feed a family of 6, my kid loved the kid's NY strip, lava cake, everything is good. Just go here.

I thought maybe reviews were being influenced by people being hungry after skiing but no, this place just serves fantastic food. My table got the Penne Florence and the pork tacos and they were both delicious and generous portions. Really great service, too.

We read the reviews and had to go while staying at the Black Lantern in Montgomery! Our server, Chelsea L, was the best! So friendly and accommodating. My husband had Mexican and I had the maple glazed salmon. All very good. We went back the next morning for breakfast due to FOMO! I did not believe that anyone could make a pancake anything special or worth mentioning. I rarely even order pancakes. Omg - the blueberry pancakes were absolutely out of this world. The blueberries were so juicy they splattered a foot when cut into. Delicious! What a local gem! We will be back!

Such an awesome little town gem. Food is so delicious and service is great. We had two days of breakfast covered there. Very affordable menu. Every day’s specials are different and it’s never a miss! Will definitely go back if we visit the area again.

This place has THE BEST Pancakes EVER! The specials are also very good. The menus is reasonably priced. Chelsea is such a great waitress and makes sure you are well accommodated. My friend asked for a generous amount of creamer and Chelsea brought out a beautiful pyramid of creamer for her coffee. I loved her sense of humor 😆
