Although my girlfriend and I chose to dine at the Belfry après-ski (burgers - cooked to perfection and beer) I've personally enjoyed this restaurant since 1995!! First and foremost, the food is always fabulous, prepared by an experienced chef, and always reasonably priced! Don't forget to look at the blackboard for the day's specials! Ambiance, then some! The Belfry Restaurant is a former 1800 schoolhouse and has long been a favorite among our friends and family. It also attracts skiers, bikers, hikers, and locals. The staff are all extremely friendly and treat everyone like family. Whether you stop by for an après-ski meal, family night out, or date night, the Belfry is always a great decision! Enjoy!!!

The Belfry is a little gem nestled in one of the most beautiful towns in VT. It's rustic and authentic and the food is wonderful. Expect it to be full, so make a reservation!

Great spot almost in the middle of nowhere. Saw them advertising at Jay Peak hockey rink and love to support small businesses so we went for dinner. Great ambiance and delicious food. We had shrimp scampi and their pork was very tender and flavorful. French onion soup and bread starters were great but came out at the same time as our entrees which most times would be a bummer but we were hungry and soup was piping hot so needed to cool down anyway. Maple pie for dessert was delicious. Definitely go there and spend some time off the resort.

Stopped in for dinner while at Jay. Had the muscles, they were definitely out of this world. Delicious! Had the chicken Alfredo as a main course, it was definitely more scampi looking, tasting and even tasted more like shrimp than chicken , but it too was good. Waitress was friendly, place is super small so make sure you make a reservation.
