poor management and owner has a cold shoulder. Staff are under trained and quite frankly unfriendly. Skip this glorified Starbucks and head over to Capital grounds for a more authentic Vermont feel. 45 minute limit for a table Save yourself the trouble and be happy they have that so you don’t have to spend that time in there.

Just sharing an update from my time moving through Vermont-things still feel different than the classic Vermont image.

Cute place, delicious apple cider cake, fantastic latte(they don’t do vanilla 🥲) poor service; no one was at the counter or greeted us when we entered. I was at the register ready to order and the counter attendant then walked up but bypassed me and looked at the people behind me and proceeded to help them. Then said something about the line starting there and was just plain unfriendly. Do better

I adore this bakery. This is my go to place for quality espresso and pastries. The staff is very professional, and the owners are passionate about their product and service. Aesthetic is welcoming and authentic. Really the espresso is the best I have had in a cafe and can only rave about it.

Great for a work from cafe day, a date, meeting with friends, or just enjoying pastry.

The croissant breakfast sandwiches were the best.
Nice spot... Go grab a breakfast
Downtown Montpelier bakery/coffee house. Provides a variety of baked goods, pastries, and sandwich specialties. Pleasant environment for coffee and socializing. Staff kind and efficient. The hazelnut tart was delicious.

Montpellier Vermont's best place for baked goods when you want something a little more extravagant with your morning coffee.

Prior to this place, I’ve never been told that I had reached the “time limit” in a cafe after catching up with friends there for 45 minutes. Absurd situation… find a new career if you don’t like people hanging out in your cafe!

We have been on a never ending quest to find well made kouign aman here in the States. We’ve had some that is very good. But we have yet to find anything equal to what we experienced in Brittany…until now. This amazing delicacy is not well known and even less frequently well made. The Bohemian Bakery gets it right! Our search is over! The dough is delicate with a scrumptuously sweet center and an expertly rendered crunch on the outside.
The atmosphere is, well..bohemian. They have a great selection of delicious pastries, amazing coffee and an over the top staff. Their croissants are to die for. We were amazed that the prices are surprisingly moderate.
The location is right in Main Street with easy parking nearby.
Now, our next qeust will be to convince them to put one in Virginia!
