I'm not a vodka or gin kinda guy, but i have to say that their offerings are pretty amazing. This is definately a Must Stop if you want to sample the taste of Vermont distillation at its best.
Definitely worth the stop if you're someone who enjoys spirits and cocktails! We were hoping to have a few of the delicious sounding snacks from their food menu in addition to a tasting and some cocktails, but unfortunately we found when we arrived that only the retail section of the distillery was open. Our visit to Barr Hill turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our recent visit to Vermont. I had discovered Barr Hill at a village store in Danville, a gift box of gin. I love gin and I love local craft so I picked it up to try. I hadn't even tried the gin yet but thought a tour would be fun.
