So, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place!With the help of the Owner, we hosted my Aunt's 61st bday at this location, even with about 40 people in the back. It was just perfect! The Servers were on top of it (to say the least), taking multiple orders, providing us with consistent apps for everyone to eat, letting us decorate! Even within the large crowd, they'd find the individuals and provide exactly what was asked for!The food was amazing as well! Hot fries, delicious wings, and tasty burgers!!! They even went out of their way to provide a cute cheese and cracker platter that wasn't on the menu!This place is just wonderful! Please come visit, please witness this great group of people and help support them! They truly deserve it!!!

Ok by now I'm a regular. The food is consistently great (Jeff is CIA trained) and I like the ambiance. I typically come for lunch - it's fairly quiet around noon when they open (picks up later). Lots of tvs for sports (nfl most popular- maybe bball too but I don't watch that). Lots of locals. They have updated the menu recently and they always have interesting specials. Portions are large so I usually stick with the apps.

I'm not recalling her name, but the blonde bartender/ waitress was great! I would prefer more of an authentic Irish pub feel ( less TV's), but it is America.Vegetarian options: I'm a pescatarian, like most pub/ restaurants in Montpelier, there's not a whole lot of variety for vegetarians.

I’m here a couple of times a week and have had many of the food options. It’s really gastropub quality. The chef works hard to bring fresh, high-quality items to the menu and doesn’t disappoint. They have a regular menu but the killer is the daily specials. They smoke their own meats. I can’t comment on the beer but the cocktails are good. The wine is ok- it’s a beer place. Lots of tvs for sports watching and the patrons are friendly (and mostly know one another). Don’t sit by the door in the winter - it’s cold! Lately they’ve had live music on a Friday. Since they remodeled (after the flood) I think this will continue. Brunch on Sundays is not to be missed. This is very much a locals place and one of my favs.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this place. I wasn't sure what to expect with the few reviews and limited pictures. Everything was great for the price. I would highly recommend grabbing a bite here if you are traveling through Vermont. The hot toddy lava cake on special was really yummy. I'd definitely suggest the French onion soup too.
