Hoagie's Pizza & Pasta

I brought my 86 year old father into the Newport Vt location. We ordered our food. Then food came and everything was fine. I told the server there was some water on the floor next to where I was sitting. She said ok then left. Another staff person delivered food to another customer. I had mentioned it to her again said ok. Again the 3 time answer was the same. No one did anything about cleaning up water. I’m very disappointed there wasn’t anyone to clean it up so no one would hurt themselves or the staff. Not sure if I’ll be coming back.

we often go to the TBar to sit at the bar, my wife enjoys the specials, I enjoy the pizza from hoagies. we catered from hoagies for my wife's big bday party at the house. about 50 people. The food was amazing chicken alfredo, fried chicken, wings, lasagna, salads, pasta salad. all super fresh hot and delicious. they even delivered it....great staff.......thanks Tina

Hoagies is the kind of place every small town should have. Mostly quality, fresh ingredients and basic food — nothing fancy, but consistency always wins. It’s a pizza shop with extras. Worth it if you don’t feel like cooking but don’t want to eat junk. You feel better knowing the food is fresh. :)

Each year our motorcycle group rides the entire Vermont Route 100 from Wilmington to Newport, VT. This year for dinner we decided to do something onsite at the Newport Inn and we chose Hoagies cater the food. BEST DECISION EVER!! The food was hot when it arrived, smelled amazing and tasted even better!! Everyone I spoke with on phone when arranging the food was helpful, accommodating and so pleasant to work with! Jake, who delivered our food, could not have been nicer! Thank you, Hoagies! We'll see you next year!

I have eaten here many times and I've never walked away disappointed. Most recently I ate the braised chicken, and I was surprised at how crispy and tasty it was, but with no grease running down my fingers and chin. The mashed potatoes and gravy tasted as good as I hoped.

You have to order at the desk, but that actually gives it a 90s feel, with the red cups for soft drinks and all. It's quiet, with lots if nooks and crannies to feel like you're alone if you want privacy. The servers check regularly so you feel seen, but not so much that you feel badgered.

A genuinely good experience. Just a heads up for making it this far, split something. The portion sizes are universally shareable, it you eat it all yourself, you'll be carried out in a food coma.

We’ve been going to Huggies every Friday night for ever. We went last night and have been noticing recently always new help? The food was dry and chicken dinner to cooked. And very small portions. Both meals were terrible. Hope this doesn’t continue because we won’t go anymore. You pay high prices for a meal. And expect to get what you pay for☺️
