Though we always get it to go, this spot has it all. Excellent food with quality. Many healthy choices for toppings, friendly people and a cute, clean environment. The foldable crust is a must and our picky eaters love their pizza. Marigold kitchen makes everyone happy from the belly up! ? ??

I had the Italian salad and a small pie. The salad was delicious! I was so amazed at how good it tasted. The pizza is fantastic too!!! Great combination of flavors and texture! This pizza shop is a must when in Bennington.

I had a really nice dinner here! We ordered the large "Margie" (margherita but in the hip, local vernacular of this fast casual eatery) and split it between two reasonably but not overly hungry adults. It was fast, delicious and the crust was as thin as my patience with Tom the turkey who lives at our Airbnb (very thin, Tom is a preening jerk).

Vegetarian options: We both eat meat, but we still ordered a vegetarian pizza because it was tasty. So pretty good for the vegetables (vegetarians) among us.

Parking: There was some street parking, but if you go up to the train station you can park for 72 HOURS without being towed. God willing, your meal is done by then.

Tasty Pies, served with smiles!

They have super fresh and super local ingredients, their menu is extensive for such a small place.

I think what makes marigold the best pizza in Bennington County is that they don't try to do New York Style pizza. They do their own sort of artisinal pizza thing. It's not that good ol' new york comfort food, but it sure is delicious. On the down side, it's very expensive, and portions are small. If you are only feeding two people who generally don't eat a lot in a sitting, one large pie is just enough. We usually go if we ate a big late lunch and aren't terribly hungry at dinner. Recently, they seem to close for days or weeks at a time randomly and very often. I recommend calling before you go to make sure they decided to open up that day or haven't closed up earlier than their posted closing time.

Vegetarian options: Probably about a third of the menu is vegetarian. Not much vegan, if that's your thing.
