Delicious and beautiful food in a cozy, intimate environment. Relaxed vibe and unrushed evening.
Always delicious! Festive environment by the bar, but it's probably quieter in one of the side rooms.
Great food and service! A local favorite.

Took our Bennington student to Pangaea for dinner on Parents Weekend. Everything was fresh, everyone was welcoming, and the bartender made us a custom cocktail. Thank you for a lovely night.
Food is beautifully presented and fresh. Service is great. Limited menu but variety of choices. Fairly priced.
Our service was excellent and our meals were so yummy ? The wedge salad was the perfect starter and the hamburger ? was out of this world! They have a special sauce that's mixed into meat that makes it unique.
Love it , want to take it with me, nothing like it in the whole town. Thank goodness it's so close
Food is always good and everyone is very nice. Intimate seating and a nice, cozy place to have a nice dinner.

This is a review of the dinner side of this restaurant- there is a breakfast/coffee shop next door that I have enjoyed as well! I wasn't expecting such a great dinner in such a small town! After moving here with my family and newborn we met friends for dinner. While I don't recommend bringing your 3 month old to dinner ?, We didn't have much of an option Since we didn't know anyone in the area yet to baby sit. The staff here was incredibly accommodating and kind, and I was surprised to find one of the best cocktails I had had in a little while (very important to me since it was my first in about a year!) we had A delicious appetizer before my husband and I had to make a swift exit due to a screaming babe. The restaurant shifted us easily to a to go situation and we ate our delicious meals at home! The flavors were unique, and the quality was excellent.

The music was dreadful. The food was poor, but the young server was a nice guy. The ginger carrot soup was the best part of the meal. The stir-fried noodles with chicken was way too hot (and I like spicy foods). The salad was a small pile of lettuce. The salmon was very well done and dry.

The waitress was very nice and provided very good service. The food was EXCELLENT! The cocktails were really tasty too, and quite innovative! The ambience was a bit odd- We were seated at a booth on what used to be a back porch. The table was too small for the booth so I had to perch on the edge of my seat to reach my food. The hostess kept bringing people through the porch to go to the outside tables, so the spot was quite trafficy. I wish we'd ask to move to one of the front dining rooms which were probably cooler and quiet. Are they going for a rundown speakeasy vibe? I ask because when you enter the front door you find yourself in a dreary long hallway with no indication of where you're supposed to go from there. Upstairs? Through the unmarked door at the end of the hall? And the bathroom- although the toilet and sink were clean. The floor was filthy and the tile was crumbling, loose pieces scattered and broken, revealing wood below. Odd. But like I said, the food was EXCELLENT and the service was good
They are hit or miss on the bartender, sometimes staff reading how to make a drink, and not great results, other times, it's great. I've been many times and had one dinner that was cold, sent it back and it came back cold again...they took it off the bill, but I still the to eat when I got home. The rest has been good, but it seems they have a hard time hanging onto staff, and that is alway challenging. We go back often, it's a good place to go, but sometimes things aren't quite right.
It's been a year or so since we've been to pangea. Menu did not impress this time. It seemed to be catering to a more takeout customer Or casual diner. Not a lot of options either. We ordered the brushetta app. It was fresh, tasted more like gazpacho, and I did expect the baguettes to be toasted. Ordered the lamb gyro for an entree. Lamb was very dry and satiki was mostly just Greek yogurt. No trace of garlic or cucumber. My partner ordered the peanut noodle entre. He thought it was very good. There were only three other entree choices on the menu, and our waiter forgot to tell us that there was a special. He was new and very pleasant. But did neglect to bring us plates with our appetizers, spoons with our desserts and to refill our water glasses. Overall it was a mediocre experience. But the prices did reflect the food not too expensive.
I ate in the coffee house. My meal (egg sandwich) was hot, delicious, well-presented, and it came out quickly. I love the atmosphere: relaxed, quit, friendly, creative. I will return.
