Very unexpected restaurant tucked away in a small village. Nice quiet outside seating. Great food (we went here because of a recommendation from a helpful person in a Bennington store). We had vegan/vegetarian options but the other entrees sounded great while looking at the menu and looked very good at nearby tables.

We stopped overnight in Bennington and were very lucky to happen on Pangaea. Interesting menu with just enough, but not too much creativity. (You can still get, what I'll bet would be a great burger). All 4 of our meals were excellent. Excellent cocktails. Great service from Taylor and Maya! Highly recommended fir both locals and travelers.

food is good but overpriced and far too expensive for the fact that the restaurant is located in the middle of nowhere very limited menu with zero flexibility to substitute anything

We made a reservation for two families to eat together - 9 people and they assured it would work out to have a table and they sat up at two tables — it was raining so they could not use the yard so that was understandable - but then the food was bland and overpriced (several of us had the cassoulet but it was just some beans ...not anything resembling the french dish and I had a pasta that was equally overpriced and bland). I rarely leave a bad review but ....

They had just reopened and ran out of my first requested dish, lamb cassoulet. Slightly annoying - but the dish I had was great and it's understandable that they would run out of dishes while breaking in a new menu
