People are loud but coffee is great and music too. You can’t read peacefully nor focus. Maybe it’s me.

Lovely spot that's easy to find and with REALLY good coffee. Had an amazing decaf latte with oat milk and a short conversation with the staff. Told him I was from out of town (Montréal) and he offered the beverage to me for free knowing that I had a long drive ahead of me. He was also kind enough to let me use my own paper cup! A complete stud and what a way to make someone's day!

the staff is very friendly the espresso here is very good. Today i ordered a flat white i think it cost $5.18 before tip i received a cup full of warm/hot seemingly unsteamed milk with one shot of espresso in it. A flat white is typically closer to a 50/50 ratio milk to espresso. the only point of a flat white is its less milk than a standard latte or cappuccino. I like this coffee shop but today was definitely disappointing i was on my lunch break abd already across the street when i noticed they're mistake otherwise i would've asked them to fix. Still great espresso when they get it right!

Every time I leave Northfield, I make a non-negotiable stop at Carrier Roasting Co. It’s not just a coffee shop—it’s a ritual. The espresso drinks are next-level (the maple latte is a must), and the vibe is cozy, bright, and welcoming. The baristas are kind, knowledgeable, and always make you feel like a regular—even if you’re just passing through.

I always bring home a bag (or three) of their beans—each roast is so thoughtfully sourced and roasted, it’s like bringing a little piece of Vermont back with me. The new renovation makes the space even more inviting, and if you're lucky, you might catch the scent of fresh baked goods wafting through the air.

If you’re ever near Northfield, do yourself a favor and stop in. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger—and then come back again and again.

We've been getting delivery of Carrier for years, and it's so incredibly good that we never want to switch it up. We periodically cycle through different brewing styles and the beans cooperate no matter how you do it. On top of that, the people that own/work here are incredibly kind. Can't say enough about Carrier!

I starred food as if it was the coffee. I ordered a regular coffee with non-dairy creamer. The coffee was so strong, I could not drink it. I have had .y share of strong coffee and could drink it. But this was wad too strong. It was also super expensive for a non-fancy coffee & a snack (was really good snack), almost $19 (that included a 20% tip).Normally I do get the fancy coffees and they are good, small and not cheap but good and drinkable.People are always great.

Was craving an espresso tonic and asked the barista if they could make one even though it wasn't on the menu. They went out of their way to get all of the necessary ingredients from the brewery next door, and what I thought might be a hacked-together-but-satisfactory espresso tonic was perfectly made and delicious. Very kind and generous barista, very good coffee, very nice experience.

Got an ice coffee. Like all other places these days, they turn the machine to your face asking at least a dollar tip for 3 something dollar coffee. It is fair enough if I get something for it. She just poured an ice coffee in a cup. When I ask for a lid or a straw, she pointed me toward straws and lids right in front of her. I broke the plastic coffee cup trying to cover the coffee. All of our table was covered with coffee. My wife cleaned all. They did not even offer a clean up or another coffee. We are about the leave another customer walked in. New customer asked my wife to clean one of the chair that she missed. :) Whole thing took 5 ten minutes. I spend 5 dollars with tax and tip for the coffee that I couldn't drink and I left. The question is what is the tip for? People make 30 percent tip and don't even bother to put a lid and straw in my coffee. I understand conservation but at least ask if I want a lid like most places do these day (I was driving so definitely needed).
