“Was at the Coop n Middlebury on Saturday. My husband and I saw this bread……a 32oz loaf of this beautiful, Italian bread. We both have Italian roots, so you know how Italians are with 🥖 bread!! We bought a loaf of the Pane Siciliano…… we will now probably never buy another brand of bread… we are hooked. This bread is better than the local bakery bread we grew up on as kids!! And it’s even better that we found it’s sold at 2 local stores in Rutland!!! Thank you 😊”

“Called in to the Northfield, VT store for a large loaded pizza at 7:00pm. The food was ready for pickup when I arrived...Crust was perfect and the toppings of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and green peppers were GREAT.. ON SPECIAL for $9.99....”

“We are picky eaters with very specific requests. Hannah gets it right every time, with a smile. More than once she’s been the only one behind the counter, with a line that goes to the door, and a train on online order slips. Where most would get flustered she just keeps on keeping on. She acknowledges every person who walks through the door.
It’s unbelievable and unfortunate that she works alone at the busiest time of the day.
Food choices are limited in northfield, so I come often. Usually there is a 10 minute lapse in wait time due to staffing issues.”

“Absolutely amazing tasting, beautifully plated food and drink! Broccolini Caesar salad, Crispy Pork & Scallops and a delicious, melt in your mouth Porterhouse steak! No room for the dessert but the drinks were a wonderful treat! Service as wonderful as the food ❤”

“Penzo makes the perfect pizza. The dough is baked just right and there are enough tasty menu options that we can have a different meal each time we go. They are super friendly and just want to make the world a better place through good food. I'd also add that their prices are below the curve. We miss you in Montpelier!!!”

“Don’t sleep on Indian-Nepali Kitchen— best Indian food in Vermont! The dishes are packed with so much flavor, the portions are generous, and the owners are super friendly! We jump at the opportunity to stop in and try something new every time we are in Montpelier. On one of our visits, my partner wanted a beer, and the owner let him try an imported Indian ale from his own stock. So good! Grab take out, or even better drop in and get the full experience!!”

I've test to have a single bite of food that wasn't thoughtful, intentional, perfectly prepared, and delicious. The bar program is also fantastic, as is the service. “Bent Nails Bistro has been reborn as Bent Nails Roadhouse, and the new location down the road in Middlesex is pretty groovy. We tried the burger, kale salad, and French dip sandwich, and all were tasty. We’ll definitely be back for more. The larger space also provides even more room for the creative and eclectic artwork, which is worth checking out on its own. Lots of cool pieces and a great overall experience!”

“This is a beautiful spot by the winooski river, we ate on the outside porch with a view of the river, even saw a mother Robin feeding its young in a nest in the rafters. I had linguine pescatore which was delicious, my partner had scampi e cape sante also delicious but unfortunately both meals were light on the scallops hers had 1, also I have to wonder why some sort of bread wouldn’t be served with these dishes. I did mention to staff after and they offered to compensate which I turned down but was made sure I would be treated next time we’re in the area The staff here are great and service was quick, definitely a place to go”

“Pond Village Pub had quickly become one of our favorite places to visit. The food, drinks, and service are amazing. For Father’s Day, we had a group of six of us who went to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, and Father’s Day and had the most wonderful time. I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m so glad to have this little gem locally.”
