Bought a loaf of Pane Siciliano at the C+C Market. Had never purchased any of your products before. All I can say is it makes the aboslute best toast, french toast and grille cheese sandwich that I have ever had period! Live in Derby and I'm not sure if you have any stores here that carry your products but will drive to Barton to buy more if I have to!
Loved LaP bread UNITIL they recently switched from the delicately thin slice size they have used since the beginning and are now selling with the commercial, thicker slice size. Sandwiches now made with LaP's thicker breads, especially this loaf of Multi-Grain I have here, become a laborious effort; their hearty texture suddenly overwhelms most sandwich ingredients and is much too heavy now. Bought a loaf of La Panciata oat bread in Shaw's while on vacation in Stowe. Until now, Heidelburg oat bran bread was my favorite but really only for toast. This bread is amazing both fresh for a sandwich and toasted, slathered in butter it is AMAZING! Make sure you refrigerate it after a couple of days and keep it in a cool place until then. Fresh bread like this with no preservatives doesn't last long without refrigeration, just like Heidelberg. So good!! Can't wait to buy more...read full review
