Well that was not a pleasant experience. We sat at the bar because they were so busy. We like the bar. But a local couple sat down at the bar after us. We were eating our salads when they sat down. They got served AND ate dinner before we got our main dishes. Even after speaking with the main hostess that seemed in charge and seemed to not care….we didn’t get any compensation ie; comped drinks or a discount. $70 before tip & tax. This is a beautiful spot by the winooski river, we ate on the outside porch with a view of the river, even saw a mother Robin feeding its young in a nest in the rafters.
I had linguine pescatore which was delicious, my partner had scampi e cape sante also delicious but unfortunately both meals were light on the scallops hers had 1, also I have to wonder why some sort of bread wouldn’t be served with these dishes.

Sarducci's | Restaurant and Bar is a cozy and charming spot known for its consistently good food and friendly service. Located by the Winooski River, it offers a warm atmosphere with appealing decor. Visitors appreciate the variety of dishes, including mussels gauzzetto, calamari fritti, and the Mediterranean chicken, which is well prepared and tasty. The restaurant serves a range of options, from fresh salads and brick-oven pizzas to pasta dishes like shrimp/scallop linguine and spinach feta almond slices in a light tomato sauce. Guests often enjoy the large salads and the flavorful pizzas, especially those baked in a brick oven. The margarita is popular, with generous tequila, and the service is generally excellent, with attentive staff. Some customers note that reservations may be needed for prime weekend hours, and the decor feels slightly dated. A minor downside mentioned is the charge for bread, which, although fresh and served with garlic oil, is seen as a small inconvenience. Overall, Sarducci’s provides a delightful dining experience in a cozy environment, making it a recommended choice for good bites and enjoyable meals.
