Can someone please open a good Chinese restaurant so I don't have to drive all the way to Barre? The egg roll last night was grilled to reheat and insides was ammonia filled putty and oil. All the food was horrible. Can another chinese restaurant show the owner their margins??? They can learn how much they are losing by making people sick and how much they could earn if they changed their ways?

Passing through, ordered the Gen Tso Chicken, rice is good but it's the breading on the chicken that is beautiful and light and the sauce has a kiss of heat.

This was my second time eating at China star. Very poor quality food no fresh vegetables. The staff is friendly only plus.

I seriously love this place so much. Was hesitant the first time as had nothing but vad experiences with the chinese restaurants in Barre, Mntp etc but I am so glad we gave it a chance. Its now a regular stop for us. Always fresh food, always cooked right, big servings, always nice and hot (even when I tend to always be late to pick it up) awesome prices and an amazing team of people there. The woman is my favorite and always remembers me even after the 2nd time which makes it a smooth and stress free for me. I hope everyone supports them and eats their yummy food. I should add its always quick no 40 min wait. We usually get house fried rice which us amazing, boneless bbq spare ribs which legit are the best ever so tender and perfect, chicken fingers, fried dumplings and usually a seafood veggie special and its always so fresh. Should have took a better pic before chowing half of it but next time. MmmmmmmMmmmmmMmmmm. Get in My belly.
I love this place because, I'm the daughter of the restaurant! I have seen people giving 1 stars, and that's fine. I help with my parents, so if you see a weird young kid serving you, that's me. I try to talk to my parents about the prices, but they just ignore it :/.
