Disappointing. Not worth your good money. Find somewhere better if you are looking for a classy experience.

We had a work party at The Woods and the entire experience was amazing! The food was incredible, from appetizers to main dishes. Lisa and the staff accommodated our every need and did so much to make the party a success. The settling is so beautiful and warm. What an awesome place for an event!!

Very rude people.

The Woods Lodge is conveniently located minutes from the highway. The Woods Lodge is rustic yet elegant. They offer abundant and comfortable seating options for guests to relax or mingle. The catered grazing table was impressive, stunning and delicious!

Unfortunately they were overbooked and understaffed - we had reservations and still had to wait for both a table and drinks - the staff seemed unorganized but friendly. The menu was prefix and even though we had placed our order a week prior they didnt have a record of it - the soup and salad were good but the entrees were bland and not warm. We wish it had been a better experience especially given the cost!

Great ambiance, food was delicious, staff was great but slightly disorganized. Overall a great place to go in town.

We appreciate our local restaurateurs and businesses in general, but when they excel it truly brings our experience to a brand new level. Location is a bit trippy, but its something you can remember, along with the fabulous food!

The service was unfortunately horrible. Very unorganized. The wait staff was scrambling and appeared to get tables confused. We were there for nearly three hours and one entree was not edible. Cold and dry as if it had been sitting around. Beautiful setting though.

If you weren’t at The Woods Lodge tonight, you just missed what we consider one of our top 10 meals. Ever. I never knew you could make something with a ham hock beyond a pot of beans. But I get ahead of myself. The starter salad with roasted root veggies, spinach, dates and feta with a maple Dijon vinaigrette was a solid start, but the cabbage soup was divine. The combination of fresh cabbage and sauerkraut in a rich, golden broth with potatoes and served with a hearty sli

What a treasure! We happened upon The Woods Lodge through Front Porch Forum. We are new to the community and hadn't heard about this lovely place. The food, the surroundings, the attentive staff, it couldn't have been more perfect.

The woods lodge is a local treasure. A forrested lodging and event space with highly anticipated dinning events. One of the reasons I love living in Vermont!

Very good food and wine. It was a chilly night and did not expect to dine outside. Would have liked to be inside. A warm night, would have been lovely.

A total dump. The owner/proprietor (whatever she was) was very rude.

During Covid Woods Lodge offered to go meals from their kitchen. This current Valentine’s Day they had a special menu complete with chocolate mousse! And delivery to our home in Northfield ! It was fantastic - nicely put together with directions on how to heat up the soup, veggies and main dish. So delicious! Looking forward to a time when we can be at their restaurant in person! Thank you Woods Lodge !
