I've seen more owners go in and out of the station than many other locations, it's hard to keep business in a state like Vermont and especially in Pawlet village. The current owner is a extremely good cook, incredibly funny and genuinely great chef for just about everything he makes, his staff are incredible and local people, not to mention employing younger people from time to time. After a long day of work and play we were all ready to find a restaurant that would welcome us for dinner. The only restaurant open in our area was The Station and we couldn’t have imagined being served a better dinner!

We have now visited multiple times. This time I had delicious chocolate chip pancakes and my companion had the Vermont raspberry pancakes with real VT maple syrup. And the bacon cooked to personal perfection. The atmosphere is fun, eating while watching the cooks. The service is also good. My coffee cup was never empty. A new favorite breakfast spot.
