The long-awaited first weekend of the Killington ski season has finally begun, and our New Jersey ski club stayed at the Swiss Farm Inn.
It was a last-minute booking, but everything was well-prepared and organized.
Most importantly, it was incredibly convenient, being only about 10 minutes away from Killington.
The spacious living room and commercial kitchen were perfect for our group of 19, giving us plenty of room to cook, eat, and enjoy ourselves.
Interestingly, the inn has a "shoes-off" policy, which might seem unusual at first, but it made sense given how immaculately clean the interior was.
Every one of us had an amazing time here, and before leaving, we even booked our stay for February!
It’s a fantastic place for group trips—highly recommended!

Noteworthy details: being only about 10 minutes away from Killington.

We just had a family reunion with 29 of us, and Swiss Farm Inn was perfect for the occasion. The living room is huge, so there was plenty of space for everyone, and we had such a great time!
This has been our annual family tradition for over 20 years, but we’ve never had a place this spacious before. With 14 bedrooms, each having its own bathroom, we didn’t have to worry about fighting for the bathroom anymore!
The rooms still have that classic Vermont charm. We even asked the owner to keep the traditional Vermont vibe, since it’s so rare to find a place like that nowadays.
All in all, we had an awesome stay, and we’re all looking forward to coming back next year!

While staying at the Swiss Farm Inn, my husband and I enjoyed the great service and beautiful property. It’s located between excellent hiking trails other and outdoor recreation spots like disc golf, which we love. The retro interior made us feel nostalgic for family vacations back when we were kids, but it had up to date internet and entertainment available. We especially loved hanging out by the fireplace on the cozy couches in the living room. It would be the perfect spot to host a family reunion or other gathering, because it has a huge kitchen and great group rates. I’m looking forward to going back soon with more friends and family.

The Swiss Farm Inn is ideally located for experiencing Vermont’s autumn foliage. Our large group of 30 family members found the 14 rooms at the inn more than sufficient. We never had to compete for bathrooms as each room has its own private one.
The highlight of our stay was the spacious living room and restaurant-quality commercial kitchen. The living room comfortably accommodated all 30 of us, making it a perfect gathering space. It was a delightful stay and we look forward to coming back again!

Decided, with family members, to find a place where we could all go to view the beautiful fall colours. We lucked out and found the Swiss Farm Inn where we were able to book the entire place. There were 26 of us so it was difficult finding the right accommodation. The Swiss Farm Inn was perfect. It Was like being at home, but better- no cleaning. Each room had a private bath. The rooms were rustic, cozy and charming. We enjoyed hanging out in the large living room, with its stone fireplace, plenty of soft cushy sofas, and large screen TV. Felt like someone invited us into their home. There is a rule about removing shoes, but I loved it. I ask people to do that in my home so why not here. Keeps the floors clean so you can walk in your socks or bare feet and leave the dirt outside.
About food: it's not a B&B but you can make arrangements if you want anything catered. They have a commercial kitchen, which is fantastic, so we were able to make coffee, and some simple meals but it can be as involved as you want. Also, there are 2 great markets 2 minutes away to buy pre-made food.
This was definitely a great find. We look forward to making this an annual event.
Oh, Inyoung our host, was so very helpful in many ways. We will be back.

The Inn needs some TLC, Many of the rooms the hair dryers would not work because of the outlets. No matter how we reset the outlet. No smoke detector in at least of the rooms. Ceiling fans in bedrooms - not all of them had a way to turn them on. Chains were missing. The fans in the main sitting area are in need of a cleaning. They are bad. The kitchen is great with the industrial dishwasher and large refrigerator, plus a walk in frig. The professional gas oven and stove top is also great. Everything from the floors up needs a good cleaning. The beds and bedding seem to be clean and ok.

Once an operational Inn, Swiss Farm Inn is now strictly a rental property. It worked out great for us because we had people driving and flying in from all over the for a family reunion so we needed a place where a LOT of people could stay. There is a big commercial kitchen you can use while you stay there which is great when feeding 50 people! I couldn't tell you what the rooms are like because I never saw them, which leads me to my only complaint: they don't allow dogs. We wanted to bring my dog, so my parents & I stayed separately of the entire group (at the Long Trail Inn that does allow dogs). What do they have against dogs? This is a giant place with a nice big yard, there's zero reason he shouldn't have been allowed there. We couldn't even do stuff inside cuz one of us had to always stay outside with him (thankfully it's summer so people were outside anyway). I would have been happy to pay a refundable pet deposit, because I have a hypoallergenic non-shedding small dog, and I'm confident he wouldn't have been a problem. That said, if you're looking to rent out a large house for a lot of people (as long as you don't have a dog) I highly recommend this place.

My family and I rented this lovely Inn for my sisters birthday. It has a old charm and the owner Roger was very friendly. He even offered to show my brothers and I some great motorcycle riding trails. I enjoyed my time with the family and my only upset is that I didn’t get to have any of the worlds best breakfast. I couldn’t stop thinking of how neat it would be to have a b&b like this. Definitely think our family will be renting it again.
