Sarah and staff do an amazing job of farm to table, top notch caring for their guests. Sarah's husband provides the "farm" and Sarah sets a mean "table" Truly. I have eaten at fine restaurants around the world. This is among the best.
Great ascetics but I stopped in for food but was turned away because I didn't have a reservation. The place was a ghost town with all the seats open at the bar. Probably not a good business practice to turn folks away when your empty. The maple syrup I bought from thier pantry was absolutely delicious!
Unbelievable. Six stars. Famous chef quality, small town ambiance (and prices). Go out of your way to eat here.
Top notch. Creative. Great vibes. One of the best restaurants in VT.
Perfect!
Friendly service, very good food (and taking Covid precautions). A rare, nice evening out!
Do anything in your power to come here. This place is in my top 5 hands down. The combinations that the chef develops are so outside the box, but they work so well. You can literally close your eyes and point to anything on the ever changing menu and you will never be disappointed. The atmosphere is VT quirky with a small setting, but very well done (think thrift store). While you wait for your meal, take a stroll through their market and get some fresh produce, meats, coffee, and spices.Waitstaff is small, but so is the restaraunt, and they are always very accommodating and kind. This WILL be one of your new favorite places to dine.
Always a good experience, food is great and well prepared, service is very attentive. The Pantry has some nice produce and prepared food, good prices.
We never got to the Black Krim in their old location a few doors down the street, but the transformation of the old “Ashley’s” into their new space is a huge improvement. They also have a new small grocery store that we will definitely want to check out. They are only serving three tables at a time in two seatings because of Covid so reservations are required. The bonus is you get a very intimate dining experience. You want to check out the menu ahead of time as it’s limited and changes weekly. We had Pork Ramen for our appetizer. It was amazing but very spicy. I was glad I ordered a Von Trapp beer to cool my mouth. I had the Arctic Char (Salmon/ pictured) and followed up with Cannoli for dessert. I’m glad we finally got here and will definitely go back when we want an upscale dinner date or special occasion. It was expensive but we also had appetizers, drinks, and dessert.
Beautiful, delicious food. Outstanding service and presentation. Back Krim Forever!

Stopped at the Black Krim pantry and was really blown away by the variety of fresh food that they had for sale. Currently the restaurant is closed because of the pandemic but they're still selling all sorts of great items.
Our server was pleasant and told us some of her favorites. We had crawfish tails and bacon wrapped jalapeños along side gumbo and crawfish étouffée. It was all great! No complaints. Plenty of parking too!!
Fresh local, weekly changing menu, and finding new ways to please your pallet. Black Krim never disappoints.
Amazing & inventive food! The new space is beautiful & perfect for social distancing. I have been here 30+ times and the food has always been exemplary! A true gem in Randolph, VT!!
