My daughter and I went here for dinner when staying at the inn. The place was pretty crowded because of trivia night, but that still doesn’t explain what happened. After being sat the waitress did not see us for 40 minutes. After 30 I went up to the bar and got us drinks. After 35 minutes I flagged down the hostess who was very rude blaming how busy it was, not at all apologetic. It was still another 5 minutes before the waitress came over. She was also very rude making up a bunch of excuses. We would have just left but at Bolton Valley this is really your only option to eat if you are staying at the inn.
Usually have a great time there. Our first bartender Matt was fantastic. Very personable and made us feel welcome. The second one, Brendan not so much. He definitely did not have the right attitude for the hospitality business. Maybe he was just having a bad day?

Ski bar at Bolton Valley Ski Resort. Great place to have a beer or enjoy some poutine while taking a break from a day skiing on the hill. Live music too!

This is a greatest MTN bar of all time. Super cool staff, tasty food, and the prices are very fair. The steak frites are really good and less than $25- James Moore Tavern for the win!

This is the perfect lodge-restaurant. It’s efficient enough where you don’t waste too much time during a mid-day lunch, but formal enough where you can have an amazing dinner meal with high quality food and atmosphere. Local beer and food, great music, open fireplace, view of the slopes. It’s all

My boyfriend and I went to Bolton to ski, we wanted to get dinner. This is my second time coming to this restaurant, my first experience was devine however, my second was disappointing because we spent $120 with a to-go order (12 wings and the chicken plate) our chicken plate lacked French fries and Mac and cheese. We did not realize this until after leaving however, your runners and servers need to do a better job of checking the orders (I experienced waiters bringing the wrong food to a table as well).I’m unsure if I will eat here again.
Best burger and fries I've had anywhere. Service and music also top notch.
Horribly rude staff.

During Ski Season, James Moore Tavern has a great Menu with very reasonable pricing. A wonderful place to get a meal (and a beer!) after skiing! Nice Bar with great Craft Beer choices, and also a great, dedicated staff. The Tavern is also now open during the summer as well! We sat in the outdoor deck area, and also enjoyed heading down the stairs after to play an impromptu game of Horseshoes and Cornhole which are set up in the spring/summer for all to play. I Highly Recommend James Moore Tavern!
Food is amazing!!
Wonderful atmosphere on a Saturday when we were here. Food was amazingly good, and the wings were fabulous! Burger was super juicy, all top-quality ingredients. My wife described the wings as the best wings she has ever had! Lots of great options on the menu. Great beer list as well. Staff and bartender are wonderful. Will definitely be back!
Great food, chocolate cake is amazing! Wait staff and bartender are very friendly! Great service!
