“Great little spot! We ordered their breakfast sandwich which they make fresh daily and keep in a warmer, so they gave it to us right after we ordered! That’s a huge plus if you don’t like long waits. It didn’t take away from freshness or delicious flavor either. We also got an iced latte with their homemade caramel and it was so yummy. Perfectly caramel and not too sweet.I would 100% recommend this hidden gem!”
“Came in on Saturday night with a party of 6, including 2 kids. They were short staffed due to illness and we had to wait longer than we expected. Staff were very kind and professional and food and drinks were worth the wait. Very high quality food and cocktails. Excellent beer list. We’ll be back!”
“My husband and I had the welcome dinner for our wedding at Vermont Fine and everything was perfect! The food and drinks were incredible, and Tom and Chelsea took great care in meeting the dietary accommodations for our guests. The set-up for the party was beautiful, and the service was great. We highly recommend reaching out to them for your event!”
“This place was incredible - they had an excellent selection of wine/beer and their pizza was INCREDIBLE. The aesthetic and atmosphere was beyond impressive, coupled with the service and beyond friendly staff. After a long day of skiing at Bolton, my wife and I loved every second of our meal even waiting for it to come out. A++.”
“We saw them setup in Stowe for a road race. Fantastic food and great prices. It was a short wait and we really enjoyed the plum and the shitake mushroom Kombu and possibly the best miso soup I've ever had. All three were vegan and delicious. The rice was cooked to perfection and the service was fast and the staff were very kind! I will definitely be stopping wherever I find them setup! There were a lot of people at the event but they were able to move us through the line speedily.”
“Only 4/5 as my first experience was a let down ordering out during those wretched COVID years and feeling the food lacked in flavor and quantity. I live in the area and wrote them off for a while.Boy was I wrong! Everyone has off days. These folks are friendly as can be, their beer club collaborations are not only fun and unique but GOOD! The staff is super friendly and always working together to a new cocktail.Last but not least, every time I order food, it seems to get better. Stone Corral is finding their groove...looking forward to being along for the ride as a fan and customer!”
“A great restaurant with a wide variety of options. There's something for everyone! I particularly enjoy their pizza and burgers. Great food, friendly staff. Highly recommended.”
“Big Spruce had been a staple in our food lineup since moving to Burlington. We recently bought a house down the road and stopped in after night riding at Bolton to celebrate with friends. While the food is consistently good the service tonight was exceptional. So much so I’m a few Mezcal margaritas deep writing a review about it. It was Friday night busy and our server never once let us feel forgotten. He was attentive, his outfit was fire and he made sure our drinks were never dry. Can’t wait to walk down the road and be taken care of like this on the regular. ?”
“Amazing food, quick service, everyone was so nice and they accommodate my dislike of cilantro! Food was spicy and not overly salty, just right! Would definitely come again!”
“This is my first visit to Bramble. I love the atmosphere. It is spacious clean and inviting. I decided to site at the bar. Talked to the bartender. My most favorite thing to do when visiting a new place. Bartenders know what is good and they always take care of you. Ordered the Turkey Meatballs. Then Biscuits and Gravy. Both excellent flavors. They will not disappoint. The first time the Turkey Meatballs came out they did not have the heat and had to send back. The second batch was perfect. If you are in Essex Vermont and looking for a nice place to have a drink and eat, I recommend you check out this place.”
“Amazing food, wine and service! We had the whipped feta, beet hummus, kale Caesar, raclette and tiramisu for dessert. All were delicious! The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting and they have a great wine market so you can purchase bottles after you try them. Our server was fantastic and provided great recommendations on wine choices. Pictured is the raclette which was soo good.”
“Amazing food! The flavors and textures were fantastic. I brought my family here and all of us were in heaven eating this delicious food. We will be back for sure.”
“I moved to Vermont from Los Angeles which had at the time had the best indian food i had ever had and I am constantly amazed by how the food here is even better. Everything is amazing, top notch, super fresh ingredients and absolutely perfect execution. We are so lucky to have this restaurant in our neighborhood and I can't wait to order from them again. Thank you thank you!”
“Amazing food, rich blend of bright and delicious flavors. Attentive staff and quick service, everything came out hot!! They were able to handle a large party in front of us without sacrificing quality. I would come here everyday if I could”

“Just bought 3 desert pies and 1 pulled pork mac and cheese. Worth the drive as I live almost 2 hours south in Wallingford. My wife found this incredible place while researching places we can go for a day trip.”
“I only got coffee and croissant at this place so can't speak for the rest of the menu items. Coffee was good but no the best. It is slightly cheaper than other cafes. The croissant was amazing though. It is a bakery after all so I expect baked goods to be really good.”
“Easy five stars. I was doubtful that I'd get my money's worth for a $16 bowl but the firecracker bowl put my fears to rest. It was phenomenal, the portion sizes approached excessive (but don't worry-- I managed to eat it all), and everything was fresh and delicious.”
“Truly excellent food and worth the wait. Dishes are prepared as ordered so don’t expect food out in 15 minutes. I found the place charming, but I also don’t need fancy surroundings. Friday was packed, both dine in and take out but front gentleman was honest about the wait for sushi. We are picky about our Japanese food and we would recommend”
“I went here with my bf for a quick breakfast before we got on the road, and they did not disappoint. I got the traditional eggs benedict, and it had the best hollandaise sauce I ever had! I even decided to substitute my potatoes for fruit, and I am happy I did. The fruit was incredibly fresh and juicy. We will definitely be back.”
“Went for trivia and had a great time! This is owned by two family best friends! It is a very warm nice environment with great beer of course. It is wonderful to have a family owned business like this to enjoy. If you find yourself around the area make sure to stop in and at least say hello.”
“The place nails the library-esque ambiance, blending chill with productivity—a perfect setup for anyone juggling code, emails, or just diving into the latest tech read.Coffee? Stellar. It’s the kind of brew that keeps your mind sharp and taste buds intrigued, clearly crafted with care. Paired it with their truffles—rich, indulgent, a coder’s best reward.Seating’s plentiful and designed for any agenda—solo deep work or a casual brainstorm with fellow techies. It’s obvious this spot gets the balance right: great coffee, serene space, and the freedom to settle in.In a nutshell, Uncommon Coffee Place is the go-to for anyone in tech craving quality in their cup and their surroundings. Will be my regular haunt for sure.Parking: It’s a shared parking lot with a lot of other places.Kid-friendliness: You could bring your kids in hereWheelchair accessibility: It’s all on one floor so it’s easy and plenty of space”
“Visiting from NH and wanted to check out some different breweries and this one was on my must try list. Black Flannel exceeded my expectations with an excellent selection of beer, great atmosphere and fantastic service. It was also a bonus to have the opportunity to learn more about the business. The logo is fun and I have added yet another brewery sweatshirt to my collection! We will definitely be back next trip to VT and look forward to trying more of the beers and the food!”
“Excellent service. The chef/crew working this restaurant really put in the authentic touch to the food and the service.Great selections on the menu. The dessert is delightful (Kheer). Highly recommend. The goat selection is delightfully delish ?Vermonts only Nepali/Indian restaurant that we recommend 100%.”
“Stopped in after a day of skiing this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed their beer. Especially enjoyed New Day, Tropical Illusion, Tru Pils, Proper Mild, and even Winter Warmer. Great variety and laid back atmosphere. Will be back the next time I'm in the area.”
“This turned out to be a great little place for lunch! I have driven by it many times and mistook it for some kind of an industrial or storage site. I suspect a colorful awning out front would do a lot to make it feel more “restauranty”.There isn’t a huge selection of lunch items and there doesn’t seem to be a way to see which soups are available without talking to someone at the counter, but there’s definitely a lot of ice cream, and the location is certainly convenient for anyone on Commerce st, or the industrial park.”
“I hosted a work holiday party and ordered from the catering menu. The pastas, salad and garlic knots were a huge hit with my staff. Jennifer was great at suggesting how much to order and had it ready to pick up right on time. I would highly recommend Hoagies for catering to anyone looking to feed a crowd on a budget!”
“Visiting from NH and wanted to try some different breweries, recommended by our son who has visited before. Fun vibe, dog friendly and good beers. I loved the Casey's Winter Beard!”
“This little hole in the wall pub is fantastic! Food is delicious and reasonably priced. The bar looks gorgeous. The whole location looks sharp and clean with an excellent bartender to boot. My only criticism is that it could use one more front of the house staff member for when it's busy but that's just an assumption cause the single bartender/ waitress/hostess was handling everything on her own very well while I was there. I'm very impressed will definitely be back again. Highly recommend!!!”
“03.2024Tried different things in last 2 days through Uber Eats. Don’t know much about ambiance, parking, service etc but food is overall good as compared to other restaurants.I tried Malai Kofta. It was in white gravy but they made it spicy as per request.Khasta Kachori was very good and must try. Vada Pav is avoidable as it lakes strong garlicky flavour in Vada. It was not spicy even after asking.Kaju Khoya and Kheer are must try. Very flavorful.Lachha Paratha and Plain Paratha were both very well cooked.”
