“The pizza here is so, so good! If I am coming into Jericho, I'm picking up a pie at Mountain High. They don't skimp on toppings. Salads are fresh and crisp. What more could you want?”
“The only thing to keep in mind is the menu is rotating, so you don't always find the same stuff twice. Doesn't matter though, great service, great food, top-tier atmosphere, and the owner's a hell of a cool guy. The town of Jericho is a special place, and it's thanks to local businesses like this. Stop wasting time reading this review and go check them out!”
“Really happy with the first visit to Jericho Cafe and Tavern. The place has a really great vibe and the staff was super welcoming and friendly. We started with some tasty chicken wings and our dinners arrived quickly and were also very good. It was a weeknight, so we didn't get a chance to hear any of the live music but it looked like it would have been a ton of fun. Would definitely return!”
“As not one for Indian foods, this place surprised me! The food was some of the best in the area, and not even limited to just Indian cuisine. The love poured into each dish shines through as does the warmth and welcoming personalities of the family who run the place (from North India directly). I loved everything from the Spicy Noodle Samosas, to the Garlic Naan, and the Kadhi Pakoda. Nothing was less than perfect. The desserts were stellar too, we had the Mango Kulfi and the Coconut Cham-Cham, both of which were balanced perfectly. Thank you to everyone who made this place a reality, they have won me over and I know they will win you too!”
“I love the food and the people here! Best Indian food I've had in Vermont in 25 years. I live in Montpelier and go out of my way to get food here, and generally bring some home for a friend of mine if she cannot make it. Highly recommend.”
“Staff was unbelievable. Wine pairing was perfect and unexpected. I left full, happy, and with new bottles of wine I would have never found at a traditional liquor store. Highly recommended making Salt & Bubbles a stop when in Burlington.”
“The food was awesome and the service was equally awesome. I will definitely go again. My favorite thing was the duck appetizer but everything was fresh and nicely cooked and presented. And I loved the plates which are like my grandmother's.”
“Food made me giggle it was so good. Super friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant was clean and inviting. Overall amazing expereince.*First time eating Filipino cuisine.Ordered Vegetable Lumpia to start. Didn't totally blow my mind but it was tasty, I liked the crunch on the outside and the Atchara (the sauce on the side, a pickled papaya) was a refreshing balance. For the meals we shared the Bicol Express and Tapsilog.I tasted the Bicol Express (deep fried pork stew in a coconut milk, shrimp paste and aromatic spices, orderd with white rice) first and was absolutely blown away. I don't normally like shrimp because of the texture but this was excellent because it had the fresh taste of shrimp without the texture, and then it had the sweetness of the coconut and a little kick to it. The pork was perfectly crispy which went well with the wet stew.BUT THEN I TRIED THE TAPSILOG (sweet-salty peppery beef, crunchy garlic rice, and a runny fried egg) And oh damn... immediately made me laugh I was so happy. The beef was tangy, garlicky, rich, addicting. Then the fried egg dripped into the amazingly garlicky rice. The most beautiful flavors blending into one.My friend took the Bicol leftovers but you couldn't pry the Tapsilog leftovers from my posession if you tried.”
“I moved to Vermont from Los Angeles which had at the time had the best indian food i had ever had and I am constantly amazed by how the food here is even better. Everything is amazing, top notch, super fresh ingredients and absolutely perfect execution. We are so lucky to have this restaurant in our neighborhood and I can't wait to order from them again. Thank you thank you!”
“A charming space dotted with local art and warm wood tones. Delicious food clearly from scratch. Love all the attention to detail: the cheery color scheme, tea station, cute table tops. Very friendly and welcoming server. Bonus- Lots of pop up wellness and art events! I look forward to attending a few. Thank you for creating a much needed gathering space in Milton :-)”
“Amazing food, rich blend of bright and delicious flavors. Attentive staff and quick service, everything came out hot!! They were able to handle a large party in front of us without sacrificing quality. I would come here everyday if I could”
“This little mom-an-pop sushi shop rocks. They pay attention to the quality of the rice and the temperature of the fish like few sushi places do. Not a fine dining sushi atmosphere, but what's on the plate is as good as anything you'll find. We always go here before seeing a movie at the Majestic 10.”
“I ordered pies for my sisters celebration of life. They were a big hit and everyone asked where they came from. Best pies ever Will most definitely order from them again.”
“I only got coffee and croissant at this place so can't speak for the rest of the menu items. Coffee was good but no the best. It is slightly cheaper than other cafes. The croissant was amazing though. It is a bakery after all so I expect baked goods to be really good.”
“I went here with my bf for a quick breakfast before we got on the road, and they did not disappoint. I got the traditional eggs benedict, and it had the best hollandaise sauce I ever had! I even decided to substitute my potatoes for fruit, and I am happy I did. The fruit was incredibly fresh and juicy. We will definitely be back.”
“Easy five stars. I was doubtful that I'd get my money's worth for a $16 bowl but the firecracker bowl put my fears to rest. It was phenomenal, the portion sizes approached excessive (but don't worry-- I managed to eat it all), and everything was fresh and delicious.”
“Rusty’s Pizza and Pie helped us out for our Milton Ski and Ride Club end of season party. Everyone (all 63 participants) loved the pizza! Thanks for your friendly and fast service!”
“Great little spot! We ordered their breakfast sandwich which they make fresh daily and keep in a warmer, so they gave it to us right after we ordered! That’s a huge plus if you don’t like long waits. It didn’t take away from freshness or delicious flavor either. We also got an iced latte with their homemade caramel and it was so yummy. Perfectly caramel and not too sweet.I would 100% recommend this hidden gem!”
“Boyden Valley is our favorite winery! One of the main reasons we drive 3 1/2 hours as often as we can to stock up on their delicious wines and cream liquors! This time was even more incredible when we had the amazing opportunity to talk with Linda. She was one of the most friendly people I have seen in a very long time. She made my children feel so welcomed and happy and now after a week they are still telling people about Linda at the winery! It was a breath of fresh air to walk into the winery and be treated with such kindness, wine knowledge, and enthusiasm.”
“The place nails the library-esque ambiance, blending chill with productivity—a perfect setup for anyone juggling code, emails, or just diving into the latest tech read.Coffee? Stellar. It’s the kind of brew that keeps your mind sharp and taste buds intrigued, clearly crafted with care. Paired it with their truffles—rich, indulgent, a coder’s best reward.Seating’s plentiful and designed for any agenda—solo deep work or a casual brainstorm with fellow techies. It’s obvious this spot gets the balance right: great coffee, serene space, and the freedom to settle in.In a nutshell, Uncommon Coffee Place is the go-to for anyone in tech craving quality in their cup and their surroundings. Will be my regular haunt for sure.Parking: It’s a shared parking lot with a lot of other places.Kid-friendliness: You could bring your kids in hereWheelchair accessibility: It’s all on one floor so it’s easy and plenty of space”
“This turned out to be a great little place for lunch! I have driven by it many times and mistook it for some kind of an industrial or storage site. I suspect a colorful awning out front would do a lot to make it feel more “restauranty”.There isn’t a huge selection of lunch items and there doesn’t seem to be a way to see which soups are available without talking to someone at the counter, but there’s definitely a lot of ice cream, and the location is certainly convenient for anyone on Commerce st, or the industrial park.”
“Excellent service. The chef/crew working this restaurant really put in the authentic touch to the food and the service.Great selections on the menu. The dessert is delightful (Kheer). Highly recommend. The goat selection is delightfully delish ?Vermonts only Nepali/Indian restaurant that we recommend 100%.”
“Stopped in after a day of skiing this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed their beer. Especially enjoyed New Day, Tropical Illusion, Tru Pils, Proper Mild, and even Winter Warmer. Great variety and laid back atmosphere. Will be back the next time I'm in the area.”
“Gladys created a beautiful and delicious birthday cake on short notice. She is professional, easy to work with, and kept great communication with me throughout the process. Competitive prices too. I can't recommend Piece of Cake enough!”
“Epic sandwiches and generous sides of chips. Seriously not stingy at all on the ingredients, everything was delicious, with the most delicious thick homemade bread. The staff was very kind too! I’m thrilled to find this hidden gem! They do catering too!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and fairly easy access though no button”
“Visiting from NH and wanted to try some different breweries, recommended by our son who has visited before. Fun vibe, dog friendly and good beers. I loved the Casey's Winter Beard!”
“Fresh soft serve ice cream (Creamies) in vanilla, chocolate, twist, and my recommendation...Vermont Maple! Get it in a cone or cup. You can also do scoops of unique flavors as a cone, cup, sundae, shake, etc..I went with the Maple Creamie is a waffle con with Maple Crunchies! #NomNomNomThe waffle cone took in the Maple flavor and was delicious!Definitely recommending a stop at the Little red barn for some Creamies!@MeetMrOwl #BirdLife #OwlsTweet #worldtraveler”
“Came in on Saturday night with a party of 6, including 2 kids. They were short staffed due to illness and we had to wait longer than we expected. Staff were very kind and professional and food and drinks were worth the wait. Very high quality food and cocktails. Excellent beer list. We’ll be back!”
“This is my favorite sandwich shop in Essex. I ordered an Italian Sub and it was delicious. Fresh veggies, great roll and quality meats. Sat in a sunny window. Relaxing and delicious. Thank you!”
“Went for trivia and had a great time! This is owned by two family best friends! It is a very warm nice environment with great beer of course. It is wonderful to have a family owned business like this to enjoy. If you find yourself around the area make sure to stop in and at least say hello.”
