The Kitchen Table has become one of our go to spots. The food is always good and the atmosphere is just what you're looking for if you don't want to eat in downtown Burlington. The service is spotty - never bad but sometimes excellent. The rotating menu makes revisiting well worth your while.

First impression is everything. Walking from the parking lot to the restaurant, there were garbage bags, recycling and other stuff outside the kitchen door. This is the first thing you see. As you walk to the entry door, dead potted plants are left outside. Inside, more dead plants. These small details make a difference and have a lasting impression.

Lovely brunch. Perfect for a meal with friends. Next time I’ll try the mimosa flight.

Had a very “meh” experience. Cocktails were good. Winter citrus salad lacked much flavor somehow? And the honey roasted carrots were burnt, there were only a couple edible ones on the plate. My rice bowl was okay- my husband ordered steak and they were out of butter? He said it was “eh, fine.” Best part of our meal was the chai martini. For what this place costs, probably won’t be back.

We enjoyed everything - Rolls, appetizer, cocktail, entrees & dessert. Will definitely go back. Would love to try their brunch.

Sophisticated food, great cocktails, an historic local setting, and a great, knowledgeable staff. We have supported every iteration of this charming restaurant since its inception, but this one is right on target.

Love this little gem. Incredible food and service.
4 of us ate in the dining room section. The good: food was excellent. All our meals and salads were wonderful.
Not as good: it’s an old house and the part we were was pretty chilly. Service was good except our drink glasses went empty and we weren’t asked about if we needed anything else until the end of the meal. Odd because it wasn’t that busy and 3 girls were just steps away at the reception area.
Perhaps turn up the heat a tad and check for empty glasses and I’ll give back that missing star.

Delicious brunch. Loved the Eggs Benedict, but the house made Hash was not our favorite.

Beautiful restaurant, and the food is amazingly delicious. Probably the best poutine available in Vermont: fries stay crispy, and both curds and gravy are top-notch. A full serving will stuff 2 hungry adults, and you can get it topped with ribeye steak.
