Place is great but I have a bone to pick with the restaurant as their ramp up to the entrance is very uneven. I tripped on it when I was wearing my 7 month old and then watched an older woman with a walker trip all over it too. It's not settled and uneven. The other thing that was frustrating was there wasn't a baby changing station in the bathrooms. Had to change my baby on the floor. Just for the price these things should be taken care of.

Extremely friendly from the moment we opened the door. Our little one felt perfectly included but they also were sure to check with us about the dessert before offering it. I'll be dreaming of that Short rib poutine and the cocktails were perfect. Just be sure you're ready to pay the price that goes with the great experience.

We dined there last Sat and had a lovely meal. Our server was friendly and fun and despite the pouring rain the interior of the restaurant was warm and cozy. My husband’s steak was perfect and delicious. My only disappointment is the grain bowl. I’m a vegetarian and I don’t want pasta every time. The grain bowl was delicious but it costs $28 for quinoa and vegetables. That’s a price one would pay for chicken and fish. I reached out to Craig, the owner, via email but never heard back. I wanted to discuss the cost of the dish out of curiosity. I’m leaving my review only to alert other vegetarians that our food options cost a lot here. If you eat and seafood you will be very happy.

The Kitchen Table is an absolute gem of a restaurant. My wife and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary there last night and they went out of their way to make it a special experience - so much so that I woke up this morning wanting to complete my very first google review (that I can recall anyway, I typically prefer my privacy). The entire staff, and our server particularly, were warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend the Kitchen Table to anyone looking for a good meal and an upscale yet comforting atmosphere. They also have a nice room upstairs for events (20-30) so call them if you are looking for that.

Excellent breakfast in a unique home setting. Would recommend the eggs Benedict!

Lived up to the expectations. Usually a place of this price tier, the portions are on the smaller side, not here. Wanted to try dessert, but honestly was too full. Will def be back. Our host was very attentive and social which added to the experience.

In a small town right off interstate 89, is a gem of a restaurant. In an unassuming, renovated old farmhouse is The Kitchen Table. This cozy restaurant offers top notch food and drink.

We started with poutine topped with short ribs. It was fantastic!! Could have been a full meal. I had the warm rice bowl topped with short rib, my dinning companions had the schnitzel and the catch of the day.

All of the food was great and I would definitely recommend trying this great place. Reservations are recommended.

Great experience as always! Kitchen Table is one of our favorite date night places and it turns out it is also a great place to host a large group (14). The food was amazing from the appetizers all the way through to dessert. The specialty cocktails were very tasty too! Highly recommended!

The Kitchen Table is my favorite restaurant - they have fabulous local food sourced from local farms. The food is healthy and affordable and super high quality. If you have special diet requirements, the chef is always willing to accommodate your needs. The ambiance is friendly, warm, historic, and intimate. I highly recommend The Kitchen Table.

Arguably the worst service I’ve had in a Vermont restaurant. Took 30 minutes to get drinks during breakfast. I could understand slow service when they are slammed but there wasn’t more than 6 tables when my party was there. Didn’t get the second round out to us until some of us were finished our meals. Then they are going to put an automatic gratuity so we can’t tip in proportion with the service provided. Won’t go back

Cute little place, staff was semi attentive, the food was not close to the level of execution that I expect for the price point. Lackluster food, when I hoped for greatness. Unlikely to return.

We had the poutine and carrots, both were fantastic - yet as a poutine lover from the southern states I was blown away by their sensational short rib poutine…Decide to stop here! You WILL NOT regret it. Good vibes to boot

Went for brunch with a three year old and a baby. Seasoned restaurant-goers. Reservation for 10:15 and arrived on time. Ordered two mimosas (not for the kids…) which took 20 minutes to arrive. Food came out 40 minutes after ordering. Lukewarm at best. I hate cold eggs. So painfully slow. After food was delivered the server disappeared. We had to flag people down to get syrup for the pancake (none served with it) and butter for the biscuit (ditto). Tried to order another round of drinks but had to cancel. Too slow. Food was tasty but I cannot say I’ll ever be back.
