saw a young girl being taken advantage of at the bar so I told the bartender and security. they made no indication they were going to help that poor girl or keeps her safe
when the local DJ said "Hot singles in your area" I didnt think there would be THAT MANY hot singles in my area. Low and behold, THOUSANDS OF HOT SINGLES IN MY AREA (at center street alley). also the driving sim is cool, video games are fun, bartenders are nice, the dj is hawt.
I went there last night for the second time in my entire life for my friend’s Birthday. As we walked, in the smell of cigarettes inside the place was highly noticeable. The bartenders were cordial but the alcohol selection for mixed drinks was limited (cheap cheap liquor) and the bar lacked even limes for drinks which I’ve never experienced before. There’s also a literal sewage pipe that runs from floor to ceiling on the dance floor as it’s a basement venue in an old building.
The crowd was pretty big in my opinion. When I went to use the bathroom it was one of the nastiest bar bathrooms I’ve witnessed in my entire life (not the venues fault) from folks with “poor aim”. There was no paper towels.
Later in the night my friend requested the song “pink pony club” by Chapelle Roan to be played. He played it but announced that he was playing it with “great reluctance”. Some people sang and enjoyed the song, others walked off the dance floor and I overheard a woman say “what has this place become”.
I realize it’s Rutland Vermont, but as a gay man I’ve never witnessed anything so large but subtlety homophobic as Chapelle Roan is a queer icon and queer artist. This really took the cake for me especially when the DJ mentioned he was playing it reluctantly. You don’t have to like a song but as a DJ you should keep those opinions to yourself.
I would not recommend this as a place at all for queer people to go to, and would only recommend it to those who want to go to a complete dive for cheap drinks and a fun time if they’re able to make themselves have a fun time. Set your expectations lowwwwww with this place.
The games in the back were kinda fun but set up as if a middle schooler was rushing to connect a console to play a game one time to their old TV with wires strung out.
Kid-friendliness: Do not bring your kids here, or you’re an awful parent.
Wheelchair accessibility: Would not consider this venue wheelchair accessible but I’m not the regulatory expert on this.

They accused me of being a drug dealer and banned me. I'm an engineer with an ex who's deep in a drug problem. I've never been more insulted.
Totally great experience except for the fact that there were two bartenders, a man and a women. My friend and I both ordered one shot of the same vodka, the man charged me $10 and the woman charged my friend $5. He took advantage of my drunkenness.

Love the ambiance along with the great music. Good vibes.
Super chill place. Open mic Tuesdays, DJ on Fridays but what is super jamming is the karaoke on Thursday and Saturdays with Tenacious T. If you haven't gone to sing your missing out. I'm not sure what's going on there Wednesdays. Go check it out sing or dance have fun either way!

So I go to leave . And I break up a fight. Off duty Security grabs my friend and chokes him like George Floyd. And I separate the two. Security then attacked me and quickly regretted it. Long story short if you can't beat up the Security don't go to the

Bouncers and bartenders can be rude. Good looking gentleman don’t go there because the bouncers can be very jealous.
Excellent bar, great service, and very professional staff 10/10
