Missing a lot of menu items - said they had no paneer for paneer tikka? , no coke (regular), and no garlic nan? Don't understand why they could make regular naan but not garlic naan as it's just regular with some garlic. When we got the plain naan saw it was basically store bought
The service was also off, in the end we asked for Fanta and the guy never came back.
On positive side the flavor of the vegetable dishes was good.

This was our first visit, and it was fantastic from start to finish! We were seated immediately on Christmas Eve, and they were busy. But our service was attentive without being overbearing, and everything we ordered was delicious! We started out with a chicken appetizer, that was absolutely delicious. Big tender, chicken chunks, with a wonderful sauce with onions and peppers, and a light green dipping sauce. It was wonderful. We had two other chicken dishes that were out of this world, along with garlic rice, and plain basmati rice, and it was all really good. Our waiter asked, after I ordered what was labeled a spicy dish, if I was sure I wanted that because it would be hot. I wanted something spicy so I said sure, but he double checked again that I was OK with a very hot dish, as he said it was too much for many diners. In any event, it was fantastic - hot as hell but really, really good! We will definitely be back, in fact, this may be our new favorite restaurant!

Very nice! Tho the waiter wasn't sure how to make drinks, we told him what to do, and he was super nice. He really went out of his way to please! The food was very good. Excellent selection of vegetarian options.

The food was delicious and the portions were good, but the service was incredibly slow. There was only one other table in the restaurant and still the server was on their phone and didn’t come to check up on us for anything.

One of the few places I have been in Rutland with a modern and inviting atmosphere.

Music, modern lighting, nice set up, a nice aesthetic other than wood paneling and plain chairs like it's the 1980's.

The service was not the best, just slow, other than that the food was 11/10, they even have water in glass vases that add a unique touch to the vibe.

The garlic naan is addicting 👻

This is one of the nicest restaurants I have been in Vermont, and the food was easily top 3 indian cuisine foods I have ever tried.

The food here was so good — it genuinely felt like eating at home, the kind of warmth and flavor only mom’s cooking has. We ordered chana masala, aloo gobhi, and samosas, and everything was fresh, perfectly spiced, and full of authentic flavor. They even made chapatis for us on request (not even on the menu!) — that gesture alone shows how much they care.

The owner came out to greet us and was incredibly sweet and welcoming. To top it off, they surprised us with delicious gulab jamun at the end. ❤️

If you’re looking for real, home-style Indian food and genuine hospitality, this place is a must-visit!

I have been a customer of the Dholakia family for several years and when they were a just take out place in the gas station in Weston. We are so thrilled about their sit down restaurant in Rutland. The food is always spot on and the menu is always changing for the season and based on the cultural celebrations of their family. The prices are reasonable and there is something for everyone on the menu- vegetarian, fresh baked gf naan, dairy free and it’s all delicious. Our favorite dishes are butter chicken , biryani chicken, saffron rice, paleo paneer, the cauliflower and potato side dish, and the samosas! We make it a point to try something new each time we go and have never been disappointed. The family presence is strong in this business and what a pleasure to see the next generation learning and involved. I always look forward to seeing and catching up with them when I wait for my takeout order. You won’t be disappointed with dinner to go or dine in. We drive almost an hour to get our takeout.

Dine in | Dinner | $30–50
Owner had an attitude with us and refused to honor the discount the waiter had promised us for our food being undercooked. Poor service, mediocre food, uninviting atmosphere. Save your money and energy, eat somewhere else.

SAVE MONEY!!! DON'T GO THERE. YOU MAY GET SICK!!!
