Masala Corner really exceeded my expectations, I’m glad I came in. I came by myself (and missed the buffet, which is only on Wednesday) so I didn’t get to try many things, but everything was flavorful, spicy, and fresh - much better than most of the indian places near me in NYC, and better than anywhere else I’ve eaten in Rutland. I’ll be back with a bigger group!

Our new Indian spot when we visit Killington!Vegetarian options: Very large vegetarian options! Food was delicious we will be back.Kid-friendliness: My 9 year old daughter came with us and really loved her meal. They recommended a mango smoothie for her and she loved it.

I grew up down in North Carolina where every holiday my bosses wife would plate us all with traditional home cooked Indian food. This place made me tear up in remembrance of how much I miss that. The atmosphere in restraunt was not impressive to me. The service and food, however, was everything I had expected. To be fair, I arrived as they opened. Normally, I see they are much busier. I honestly do not see me choosing another Indian restaurant. Lamb Vindaloo, Palak Paneer, and Butter Chicken... all amazing.

Day starts out nice they direct us to a table that is cleaned off I ask the table that wasn’t cleaned for the view they cleaned it. Just get us in the nice view we wanted I thank him for that. I ask for water my mom asks for menus. After going to the stinky bathroom which is not there fault but would be nice to put an air freshener in there . I get back to my table order 3 things for myself and 2 things for my mother which flew all the way from alanta to come see me. We eat out food after I love the tomato soap it reminds me of when I was a kid. All the the food I received was good. I thought the chicken was a little small but it tasted great. Once my mom gets her soup she realizes there seems to be no lentils or they are just very fine. I try it it just taste like weird oil to me so I told my mom no not for me. I continue to enjoy the great food I order for myself while my mom ask to “replace” the food because she didn’t like the food. He said ok and got the same tomato soap I did. Now where happy with our service for them replacing the food. My mom notices that they added they charge to the food after asking for a replacement they kindly understood and change the order. This ruined the day for me. The owner comes up to the table before I was about to tip him for the service and clean table and says “this is the second time we have had a problem if your going to not be normal customers I don’t want you” me I mom where shocked by the comment I respond with that was rude. He continues to bring up my past experience with his restaurant where I thought I didn’t have enough money and asked him if I could leave my id here I’ll be back to pay. Long story short on that I had the money just didn’t realize it so my fault but I paid him that day and with a tip. To bring up in front of my mother which had nothing to do with her is rude. People make mistakes to go out of your way and call use not normal customers also rude my mom is not happy at this point and tells him I’m going to write a review. Which she did and he responded saying we came in there to antagonize him from the beginning. When my mom paying the last bit of her money to come here and see me the only reason I came in there because I look to eat healthy and I’ll you had good options. Please do not be rude to your customers we all make mistakes my friends. I forgive it but not cool do better if you apologies to us I will be glad to come back until such time enjoy your day. Thank you for the serviceFYI me and my mother have both worked in the food industry me as a dishwasher and cold side and my mother as many position to dishwasher to store manager.

Owner was extremely rude to me and my son. I ordered a soup that turned out to not be what I thought it would be. So I asked them to replace my soup with a different soup. They then charged me for both soups. When I asked them to remove the charge from my bill the man said it's not his fault that I did not like the soup. He did remove the charge though. Then after came over and told my son that he wanted normal customers and that we were not welcome in his restaurant. Never eating here again. Very rude people run this restaurant.

Was disappointed with the Naan, maybe it was the to go container it came in but it tasted like their oven hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. Staff was friendly. Small amount of chicken for the price and Ive definitely had better, but nice to see Indian food in downtown.
absolutely amazing! thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this meal. from the first step into this restaurant it smelled absolutely amazing. the service was fast, and our waiter was extremely kind. would reccomend this to anyone !
