We elected to sit at a high top in the bar and received outstanding service from Jenn, Ross and Shannon. A favorite VT restaurant! The food is consistently great with a solid wine list.
Excellent service staff, very large place with lots of roomy seating. Lots of great menu options, our group had burgers and the steak entree. Definitely will be going back next visit to the area.
A friend based in Europe got in touch with me. I had seen him once in the last 52 years. He came to Vermont from Boston and I discovered he eats a Vegan diet, so I took him to Roots. We sat outside. The food, from the appetizers through the dessert, was fantastic. The service was friendly and efficient. I rarely give a five star reviews, but Roots in Rutland earned it.
