Roots consistantly serves good food. Casual restaurant, great bar. High quality, valueand presentation are delivered. This restaurant can get noisey when busy, the night we dined at the bar, it was not busy.
Food and service consistently excellent. Fresh ingredients. Highly recommend the Roots salad and the tomato/basil soup. And crème brûlée!! With cocktail of choice it's the perfect place for dinner before a show.
I took my spouse to Roots for his birthday. He ordered the ribeye, which he said was "pretty good" and he enjoyed the accompanying potatoes and carrots. I ordered the coconut-crusted cod which was topped with pickled veggies and came on a bed of scented rice, accompanied by baby spinach. All were delicious! Spouse had the carrot cake a la mode for dessert, which was very tasty. Beer and wine were good, but I thought a bit pricey. Our server, Trey, gave us just the right...
