“From the atmosphere to the service and the music all to the food, everything is so amazing, I m traveling to try different places for food on different locations, state wide and this far as Asian goes especially for Rutland Vt this is the best I had! My duck was to die for, full of flavor and just what I’ve been wanting to eat and so was my husband general tso,a very clean restaurant and clean bathrooms! Will definitely be back as we just moved to the area! So if you’re visiting Rutland I’d suggest to stop here because this is the best!“

“The Rustic Rooster is one of those rare Vermont gems you almost don’t want to share because it’s that special. The food is absolutely amazing — consistently fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. But what really sets this place apart are the people. Greg and Donna, the owners, make you feel like family the moment you walk in. Their team is just as wonderful, and I have to give a special shout-out to Tyler (aka Leroy), whose warmth, humor, and service always make the experience even better. If you’re looking for authentic food, authentic people, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere, this is it. The Rustic Rooster is easily one of my top spots in Vermont — a true local secret that’s worth discovering.“

“This place has a great atmosphere as well as great tasting food and very pleasant staff. I feel the only thing that would be missing is music. Not too loud but just pop music from the 80s 90s and early 2000s a.k.a. happy music for people or classic rock can’t go wrong with that.“
