The Abbey Pub and Restaurant

Cool Summer theme, food was great. Staff was responsive and wonderful but it did take a while to get seated and served. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better place in Franklin county to eat on a Friday night.

I have lived right down the road from this place for the last 15 years. Never eaten there. Finally gave it a try and it was absolutely amazing!! The food was so good!! The shortest (half mile) I’ve ever driven to get amazing food!

This place is AMAZING! Last night me and my wife stopped in quick while the kid had practice. I got risotto and my wife got the Montreal dip, both were out of this world good. They were packed busy but we got our food fast, waitress was awesome, atmosphere awesome. I can’t believe I haven’t been going here all along. 5 stars ain’t enough.

Their service was terrible only one waitress to handle crowd and bar food was terrible was sick next day. Then to top it off they decided to add a $10 tip to my bill and they are lucky they refunded it. But I’d say this place has really gone down hill and it’s too bad

My husband and I were not impressed with Abbey last night! My husband ordered the prime rib meal with mashed potatoes; the prime was cold, and the mashed potatoes had too much pepper in them. We didn't say anything because the restaurant was over busy celebrating their 50th celebration. 2 ND. Of all, we were pushed out of the restaurant by the owner while my daughter was in the bathroom and her dessert was still on the table , and No, she wasn't done with it , Sherry did not ask if we were done with it . She told us to leave because they needed a table for people. Came find out. It was for her friends !!! Not happy. This is our last time going their.I DISLIKE restaurant owners who push out paying customers!!!!!

Hearty meals served in country/Western atmosphere. Great service from hard working servers. Clearly this is a local favorite for brunch and casual meals.

Was super excited to try this place have passed by for years and finally decided to try it out….. should have kept going! Service was good, beer was good, atmosphere ok but food was terrible. Had seafood stuffed mushrooms and were a huge ball of mush served in a bowl of oil and butter!! Flavour was actually not bad but poorly executed! Could not eat was like consistency of oatmeal. Then we move onto the seafood platter! Ouch! Fish, scallops, shrimp, have all different cooking times and these were thrown most likely frozen altogether again and a big dish of oil and butter and cooked together! Everything was overcooked and fish was super mushy and just drenched in butter! The fries were good though! Very disappointed will not be back! Perhaps they should stick to burgers and fries? But then again didn’t have the burger lol

The very worst nachos my wife and I have ever had in our lives. How do you like ranch dressing on your nachos? Comes standard like that. The little plastic cup of "salsa" that accompanies it tasted sugary and watery at the same time. We had to ASK for plates and it seemed like we were bothering the waitress to have asked. The atmosphere was kooky-fun and the beer was good. So come here for beer and order pretzels maybe. (Another person with us ordered mushroom caps as an appetizer and it came looking like a piece of bread that had cream of mushroom Campbell soup on it, or something that -- I'm sorry -- a cat had upchucked. I turned down the offer to try it.)

We stopped by on a Friday around noon for lunch, and the pub was completely empty. Our waitress came and took our order in a timely manner, and was pleasant. Now, this is where the change occurred. We had the privilege of watching our waitress eat her lunch while her head was moving to the music, which was quite loud totally ignoring the fact that we were waiting for our food. I mentioned to my husband that she should check to see if our food was ready, and he was under the impression that the kitchen would notify her, which was obviously wrong. Once she was done eating her lunch and I mean done eating her lunch, we had another waitress bring out our food. My meal was completely cold, which I sent back, and the waitress delivering the food wasn't surprised. Obviously at the Abbey, it's all about the waitstaff taking care of themselves first, and not about the PAYING customer. We will not be going back!!!!!

Arrived at 8:05 for dinner and the two waitresses who were enjoying their dinner informed us that they decided to close the kitchen early tonight.

The food was alright, but the service was terribly slow. It wasn't even busy.

Another fun dinner with Trisha as our waitress.Euro Burger was excellent! I asked for bacon to be added on the burger and it was not a problem.
