Delicious food, and a beautiful setting watching deer in the river below (they recently had a fox and bald eagle as well!). Very friendly and fast service. Would definitely return

We discovered this place because we were really craving some breakfast. The other restaurant we went to, stops serving at noon. We sat right near the window and admired the view. We could see the water and it would be a beautiful place to dine when the leaves change completely. Beautiful atmosphere and really great food! Hidden gem, if it’s not locally known. Can’t wait to try their lunch options!
Parking: We parked in the back of the building, there is parking in the front as well.

I wish I lived closer. It's almost an hour drive to this place for me and it IS so worth it. The decor is not going to impress anybody but the Sketchy-Noir interior is a sign of the times and place. The stars here are the food and the service. The service is warm and friendly and efficient. The food is fantastic. I had the Country Benedict which was a beast of a feast. The hash browns.... The best cooked hash browns I've ever eaten... including my own! Springfield has a hidden gem.

The food is very good, prices are fair. The service is good especially since they are really short staffed. The big problem is: they ignore you when you first go in. They will walk past you several times and act like you're invisible. It doesn't take much to just acknowledge customers and tell them you will be right with them. This is not an isolated incidence it happens all the time.

Subpar food (stale home fries, under-sauced eggs benny), good views.

it's not unusual to find a small diner or restaurant in Vermont with amazing food. This place is quite the gem, fresh bread, amazing brisket with eggs for breakfast and super friendly service. Go here and patronize these people, glad you did you will be!

Wonderful food and service at the annual Springfield Food Co-op Annual meeting.
We stayed in Springfield, VT, and the HIGHLIGHT of this town was breakfast and lunch at Maebellines!!! Their staff were so friendly, kind, and accommodating! Plus, their food was fabulous!!! Last, but certainly not least, their cinnamon buns are out of this world!!!!!!!!
One of the best burgers I have ever had.
