We were driving through Springfield and happen to find this gem of a restaurant. First impressions were “wow”. It has such a nice view of the black river which made it feel so cozy. Next, the service was so friendly and attentive. Our server really made our visit so pleasant. Finally, the food was amazing. My kids (10&12) were really impressed by the fluffy pancakes and the adults really enjoyed the Hash Benedict & the Maebelline Melt. We will definitely visit again when we’re in the area.

Friendly and fast service but the burger was undercooked and tasteless. Good fries. Would not come back to this place.

Would have been 5s across the board but there’s never parking and unfortunately we got turned away at 1:15 because they close at 2. ??? Change the hours if you can’t sit people at 1:15. Not cool, we waited in the parking lot til a spot opened only to be turned away 45 minutes before closing. Shame

Due to the ratings, we thought this would be a nice place to have breakfast this morning before leaving town. Unfortunately there wasn't anywhere to park without the risk of getting hit or blocking another patrons parking space. We chose to travel a bit longer to have breakfast elsewhere. Rating is for lack of safe parking. Unable to rate service or food

This is a cute spot with ample seating and window seats that overlook a riverscape.
The service was friendly and the food was good. The menu contains basic breakfast fare but with creative options like sweet potato fries (they were excellent not greasy just good). They did have gluten-free bread/but not gluten-free pancakes (One can always hope right?)
quick turnaround time between order and eating.
We found it to be a great spot to stop for breakfast if you're passing through.
Suggest you do!
